Fonts - Get Your Samples Here

With the Projectivy 4.71 upgrade we now have the option to change the font for the clock, card labels, etc. Projectivy supports the Google fonts catalogue with nearly 2,000 fonts. So, yikes, going through all those is a bit overwhelming.

When you go to Settings / Proj. Settings / Appearance / Font

it's just a giant list. But if you look over on the left there's a QR Code to take you to

https://fonts.google.com

This site shows all the fonts and sample text. You have options to change the sample text, sort and filter all 1,942 of them.

Here's a trick... if you arrow down to the FONT (Google Fonts) menu, you can type in the name of the font you want, you don't have to go through that huge list manually. In the picture attached, I've typed in the name of the font I want to use, Acme.

Just be aware - it's one font for everything, so if you choose a fancy/swirly font it may be difficult to read menus and tile descriptions. Choose wisely.

Quick Row Trick

Set up a row, turn on Grid.

In this example, the Row Advanced settings is set for Cards Per Row=1, but it works with any size grid.

Next, under Background Color (just below where you turn on Grid)

pick any color, then set Opacity to 0.

You'll get the fine outline (in the picture it's blue) but no background fill.

Update showed up in GooglePlay today!

The update to 4.7 finally showed up for me in the GooglePlay store today. (It was actually 4.71) So it only took about 3 weeks for Google to finally get around to publishing this for my account.

I restored my live wallpaper and played around with the Clock settings as first test, but I'll likely experiment further for the next few days.

Thanks again to Spocky for making such a great product!
