OK, this question's been asked loads of times. The difference this time, is that it used to be my default launcher on my Google TV (i.e. the google tv is inbuilt, not an external streamer). It worked fine.

Since then I've had to re-install it . My partner had to update HBO while I was away, there wasn't enough space so she deleted a few apps we don't use, but not Projectivy. When I got back, the TV was booting straight into the Google screen. So I played about with the settings to no avail and eventually simply deleted and reinstalled Projectivy from the Play Store.

Now, when the TV boots up, it goes straight to Google. So I click on Projectivy. Then, after I exit from whatever we were watching the TV goes back to the Google screen.

I've looked at the suggestions in the other threads on this issue. I've tried all of them, enabling accessibility etc, except for the ones using ADB. I've used ADB with Android phones in the past, but never thought of using it on a TV. And, the fact is, I hadn't needed to do it the first time I installed Projectivy,

Is there a way to stop the category from right to left on the category lines when you have only a couple of icons and there is no need for it?

I've been calling it project ivy (as in the Holly and the ivy).

But today my Google TV talked to me and said something that sounds like project TV.

I recently tried to buy the premium version directly fronm the tv with a correctly configured Google account for the use of the Play Store but after I select the option to go to it from the launcher settings I receive only an error screen and therefore I'm unable to proceed to the purchase. Is there a way to buy it in some other way/from an other device? Tried on my smartphone but the option in the Play Store is nowhere to be found (I suppose it's because it's an in-app purchase?). Sorry for the possible dumb question...

Wanted something calm and minimal, was wondering what I could come up with as hopefully going for a slim picture frame bezel device next. Kinda digging this.

Most icons from the awesome SicMundus86's GitHub pack, a few more local ones I had to make myself. Lots of fiddling with transparencies and dynamic color settings. The compulsiveness in me is 100% going to make me redo some of the ones that have way thinner margins, I can't deal with that right now though.

Backgrounds scraped from all over the place, added some gradients. Need to figure out an automated way of doing this - Photoshop automation is okay but... still too many clicks imo.

In reality the images change every 6 minutes, got a curated list of AerialViews screensavers to complement the colours as well.

Lag is from atvtools screen capture, not the launcher.

If you've seen my last post asking about a "now playing" for the status bar it would go on the left top corner with some minimal text - that would tie this whole thing together super nicely! If u/Thorfinn66 gets this ping I'd love to chat! 😄

Hey all, just wondering if there is or has been floated as an idea to have a "now playing" as a text element on the screen? Love the Categories implementation but as I've started playing around with single row and big visual background setups I'd love to have a simple text box metadata info maybe on the top left corner, no images no nothing. Opportunity for a plugin? Too much? Too silly? Just right? : )

Hello as anyone got a solution to this problem. I have a 16gb sheild running projectivy which runs great apart from the fact I can’t get it to be permanent if I have my usb stick plugged into sheild. If I unplug usb stick it then becomes the default launcher and works fine. Thanks

I've just reinstalled Projectivy. But as much as a browse through all the menus, I can't get the grid view back.

Has this feature disappeared ? Surely not. But I have gone through every single menu in settings and it's not there.

Ciao a tutti, ho una TV Sony A95L. Da quando ho fatto l'aggiornamento al 4.70, è successo che, se metto degli sfondi 1080, non succede nulla e Projectivy va benissimo. Se invece metto degli sfondi in 4K, l'app si blocca, si chiude e mi rimanda alla pagina di Google TV. È successo a qualcun altro? Come mai potrebbe succedere questo?

Niente, oramai Projectivy non funziona più da quando ho installato la beta 4.70. Appena entro tempo tre secondi mi lancia fuori e mi compare la schermata di Google. Ho provato a disinstallarlo più volte, ad scollegare il cavo dell'alimentazione, ma non c'è niente da fare. Non so come ripristinarlo funzionava meravigliosamente.

Greetings, I discovered this gem of an app a week or so ago (and promptly got premium) and it's working great; except for an issue with boot/resume.

On the horrible stock launcher, whenever the Shield resumed from sleep would load the home screen. However, now with Projectivy it's launching to the last used app (like a paused YouTube video).

I have accessibility service enabled and the power options set to launch PL on boot and resume. Is there something else I'm missing? Thanks.
