Update on the Namillis - Forked Bare Launcher: Dev added a new Bluetooth & Network pill in v2.7.0! (Tested on Android 14 TV)

Hey everyone!

Following up on my previous post about this awesome forked bare launcher, the developer just pushed a new update (v2.7.0 / Build 54) with some highly requested UI changes!

Here is what’s new in this version:

• 📶 Network Pill: Now uses Material Symbols. It updates dynamically for wifi, wifi_off, and settings_ethernet (Ethernet takes priority).

• 🔹 Bluetooth Pill: A brand new pill added to the left of the Wi-Fi icon. It checks for FEATURE_BLUETOOTH and shows states like connected, disabled, etc. It also updates live via an ACL + adapter-state receiver.

• 🎮 D-pad Navigation: Updated navigation chain to [bt] [wifi] [gear] when Bluetooth is active.

• 📦 Optimization: Vector drawables are super lightweight (~1 KB each).

I tested this on my Skyworth / Nobleskiodo Android 14 TV, and clicking the Bluetooth pill triggers the fallback chain (opens main Settings instead of Remotes & Accessories).

If you are using this launcher and find any bugs or platform-specific issues on your Android TV version, please report them directly to the developer's GitHub repository so they can fix it in the next build! I have already submitted the details and a technical fix (CONNECT_INPUT intent) for Android 14 TV.

Feedback / Suggestion: Accessibility Service blocks Volume Long-Press

Hi Dev,

First of all, thank you for creating Monet Launcher! I recently bought the premium version and absolutely love the UI and features. It's a fantastic app.

I wanted to share a small suggestion regarding the Accessibility Service. When it is turned on to override the home button, it accidentally blocks the long-press action of the volume keys on the TV remote. Instead of smoothly increasing/decreasing the volume when held down, we have to click the button repeatedly.I believe this happens because the key-interception logic captures all remote events. Since other launchers have managed to bypass or ignore volume keys in their accessibility code to keep long-press working, do you think it would be possible to implement a similar fix in Monet Launcher?It would make the user experience absolutely flawless! Thank you for your hard work.

v4.71 is perfect! Accessibility is ON & remote volume long-press works flawlessly!

Hi everyone,

Just wanted to share my experience after testing multiple updates. Version 4.71 is easily the best and most stable version of Projectivy Launcher. It is fast, smooth, and incredibly well-balanced.

The biggest win for me: with accessibility turned on, I no longer face any issues with my TV remote's volume button long-press. I didn't even have to change or toggle any special settings in the launcher—it just works flawlessly out of the box!

Another great thing about the override feature in this version: when I press the Home button, the stock Google Launcher either doesn't show up at all, or Projectivy overrides it instantly within just 0.5 seconds! The transition is incredibly fast and seamless.Buying the premium version of this app was definitely the best decision. Absolutely no regrets. Huge props to the developer!
