ARVIO is an open-source & free media hub for Android TV, Android phones, and tablets. It is built around a TV-first interface, but also works on mobile and tablet with touch-friendly layouts. It includes remote navigation, profiles, watch progress, catalog browsing, search, Live TV support, home-server sources, and user-configured third-party addons, including debrid and HTTP addon support.
ARVIO does not host or provide media content. Users connect their own libraries, playlists, accounts, servers, and sources.

If you use IPTV, is there a particular app/player you recommend that has super simple interface, at least for the end user?
I have an m3u stream with publicly available free foreign channels my elderly relative wants to watch but they need an easy to use app with a basic simple select and play menu.
Ideally, I can configure the app once with the stream playlist, and favourite the channels he'll likely watch. Then he just opens the app and selects from the 5 or 6 favourited channels.
Any suggestion greatly appreciated.

I've read that deeplinking in those apps is now available, but have not found the exact information or documentation on how to do this.
