Trinity 2.08 is out. Here's what's new, with the details:

New Home screen

• Trending movies with shuffle and refresh, updated once a day
• Continue watching for movies, shows and radio. Long-press a title to remove it
• Today's sports, with your followed teams first
• Your favorite channels in their own row
• A welcome message on a fresh install, and your name in the greeting (it shrinks to fit the header)

Sports Hub

• Channel quality labels (4K, HD, SD) in the picker. Trinity learns each channel's quality the first time it plays, so feeds are easy to tell apart even when the playlist doesn't label them

New themes

• More colour themes to choose from
• Colour rows in Settings → Appearance show arrows when more colours are off-screen

Equalizer

• Five bands with built-in presets and a flat reset
• A test tone, so you can hear each band on its own

Night screen dimmer

• Dims the screen after dark, with level and tint controls in Settings

External EPG

• Add up to six guide sources under Settings → EPG
• Keyword rules, so the programmes you care about are picked out of your sources

Catch-up

• Favorite channels get their own group at the top, and hidden groups stay hidden
• Loads faster: today's programmes show first, then older days fill in
• Backs off for a moment when the provider is busy, instead of retrying nonstop

Phone

• The sign-in password box no longer jumps while you type

Many of you asked for a way to buy Trinity Enhanced in bulk and sell it in your own market. The reseller panel is here.

How it works

• Each reseller has their own login and a credit balance.
• One credit covers one device, so a 5-device licence costs 5 credits.
• Buy credits through the portal, then grant licences to your customers from the panel.
• You can pre-configure base playlists for your customers, so they start with their playlists already set up.
• Each customer gets an email to set their own password, so you never need to handle their login.
• A history page shows every grant you've made, with dates and device counts.
• If you need to change a customer's device count, the panel handles the upgrade, or asks you to confirm a downgrade first.

Getting access
Click Become a reseller on the Trinity website and send in the form. Applications are reviewed by hand. Once approved, you'll get an email with a link to set your password.

Trinity TV Player is an Android TV and phone player for your own IPTV playlists (Xtream, Stalker, M3U). It doesn't provide any channels or content; you bring your own playlist. Version 2.05 adds the feature people have asked for most: a **Sports Hub**.

**How it works**

- Open Sports on the rail and you get today's games and live scores for 50+ leagues: the major soccer leagues and cups, NFL, college football, NBA, WNBA, NHL, MLB and more.

- Tap a game and Trinity looks through YOUR playlist (group names, channel names, broadcasters and EPG listings) and jumps to the matching channel. If several channels carry it, it shows a short list to choose from instead of guessing.

- Live detail on each game: score, period/clock, down & distance and possession for football, count and outs for baseball, the latest goal or card for soccer.

- Follow teams to get a notification at kickoff, star a preferred channel per league, and hide or reorder leagues in Manage Leagues.

- Leagues are ordered for your device's region (UK sees the Premier League first, US/Canada see NFL/NHL/NBA/MLB, Ireland sees the League of Ireland, and so on).

- Long-press a game to set a reminder or record it. Works with a TV remote and on phone touch.

**Honest limitations:** matching depends on what your playlist actually carries, so small leagues without a matching channel will just ask you to pick one. It covers team sports for now; golf, tennis and motorsport aren't in yet.

This one came mostly from tester feedback. You can now stop a running recording or cancel a scheduled one straight from the program menu. There's a new "Reverse channel switching" option for people who expect Down to go to the next channel. Boxes with little memory (512MB–1GB) run noticeably better, and search on slower devices is much faster. Trinity 2.00 is live. This one is mostly about speed and polish:
• Faster, smoother guide. In our tests on a low-power TV box, stutter when moving between the guide, channel groups and menus dropped by roughly 40–70%.
• Multiview now works by touch on phones. Tap a screen for sound, swipe up or down to change its channel, long-press for options, and pick from any channel group.
• Catch-up (Xtream): the start time is now sent in your provider's time zone, so it lands on the right programme even if you're in a different time zone.
• Movies: shelf counters show real totals and the preview shows the whole picture.
• Long channel names scroll again, five-digit channel numbers aren't cut off, and interrupted movies and episodes resume instead of restarting.
• Plus a batch of smaller fixes.

Live TV guide navigation fixes: Left/Back now reliably returns you to channel groups instead of getting stuck on the wrong row, and returning to the guide from full screen lands you back on the right time slot. The channel you're currently watching is now highlighted in the guide.

Fixed a rare live TV freeze where playback would silently stop responding until you switched channels.

Movies & Shows: fixed descriptions sometimes failing to load or flickering while browsing.

Various stability improvements, including a crash fix on devices with very large channel lists.

• Fixed a bug where quickly flipping through movie/show posters could overload your IPTV provider and throw errors — browsing VOD is now much smoother, with clear "loading" placeholder tiles and a message while a category is still populating.
• Fixed closed captions turning back on by themselves every time the app restarted, even after you'd turned them off.
• Parental Controls: individually blocked or hidden channels no longer show up in Search results (previously only whole blocked categories were filtered there).
• Various reliability improvements to how the app keeps your channel and movie/show catalog in sync with your provider.

• Settings → General: the guide-header widget chips (Clock/Weather/News/Sports/Stocks/Subscription) now actually let you move between them with left/right instead of kicking you back to the category list.
• AI Tools → Playlist Health: fixed the report getting stuck partway down the list when scrolling, and long reports now wrap from the last item back to the top (and back).
• AI Tools → Auto-fix EPG now correctly finds channels whose guide quietly went blank after a recent update, not just ones that never had guide data at all.
• Watchlist → "Clear history" is now reliably reachable with the remote.
• Movies & Shows: the player's Info button actually shows a short synopsis now instead of doing nothing.
• Live TV guide: you can rewind the timeline a little into the past now instead of it stopping dead at the current moment.
• Live TV: added an explicit Catch-Up button for channels with archive support.
• New setting: choose where the app opens on startup (All Channels, Favorites, Movies, Shows, or Watchlist) when "turn on last channel" is off.

Hey everyone, v1.93 is live. Biggest one this time is for anyone who's not into the programme guide:

Grid view for Live TV — a lot of you don't care about the time-based EPG at all, you just want to flip through channels. Settings → EPG → "Grid view" swaps the guide for a dense tile grid instead — way more channels visible at once, full d-pad navigation (up/down/left/right), no scrolling through a timeline you don't use.

Also in this release:

• Movie and show detail pages now play a short video preview (a trailer, or a clip from the movie itself) right under the description
• New Gradient option under Settings → Appearance — gives your theme's background a subtle light-to-dark transition instead of a flat color, on by default
• Fixed a bug where the subscription-renewal reminder's "remind me on the last day" option could pop back up early instead of actually waiting until the last day

New release with a big batch of real fixes from user reports:

Closed captions: CC wasn't displaying on many Xtream/Stalker channels, including streams that only carried CEA-708 captions with no CEA-608 fallback — both formats now decode correctly. Also fixed the CC button losing focus after picking a subtitle option or pressing Back (sometimes it wouldn't even appear until you switched channels), and fixed track labels showing blank or technical names instead of readable ones like "Captions (CC1)."

Movies & Shows: fixed descriptions needing an extra tap to show up, TMDB info that would load then disappear or never load at all, and movies loading TMDB info noticeably slower than shows. Also fixed long titles/cast names getting cut off, and fixed movie/show content staying visible after you disabled its playlist.

Appearance: added a Random Theme option that automatically switches your look once a day. Fixed a couple of polish bugs along the way too — remote/D-pad Up skipping over the new setting, and focused toggle switches losing their green "on" color.

Hand Off: fixed a bug where resuming could wrongly say content "isn't cached" — even on the very device that started playback.

Phone: swipe left or right on the guide to move through time instead of only tapping, fixed the guide's 30-second auto-fullscreen countdown firing while you're actively swiping or scrolling through it, and you can now cancel an existing reminder right from the same menu you used to set it.

Watch History: added a permanent Clear History option, and your history now survives an app restart or device reboot instead of resetting every time.

• Critical fix: rapidly changing channels could repeatedly trigger "Authorization failed" or stream error messages. Session handling with your provider is now far more reliable.
• Radio: fixed Manage Countries hide/show toggles not responding to touch, restored the directory rebuild option, and fixed a sync bug that could leave some countries never populated
• Radio playback: rewind/fast-forward now switches to the previous/next station
• Settings → Playback: you can now add your own TMDB API key for movie and show genre, cast, and plot info

• Playlist Health, Manage Groups, and Reorder Groups now scroll properly and respond to touch on phone, each with a working back button
• Fixed Radio navigation so OK/right correctly moves focus into a country's stations after returning from a deeper level
• Added a confirmation prompt before removing a Watchlist item, saved episode, or recently-watched entry
• Fixed a keyboard/back-button conflict when entering a playlist URL on phone
• Improved playlist sync reliability, including better recovery after a temporary connection limit from your provider

Just shipped v1.86. Headline fix: Stalker portal accounts could end up syncing with completely empty channel groups (or the whole sync failing outright) if your session happened to expire partway through — root-caused and fixed, sync now recovers on its own instead of giving up.

• Multi-playlist users: creating a new group now lets you pick which playlist(s) it should belong to
• Reorder Groups: wraps around at the top/bottom instead of stopping, and you can toggle group visibility with Left/Right even mid-drag
• Confirmation prompt before deleting a group
• Fixed custom groups occasionally showing their internal ID instead of their real name in the rename dialog/long-press menu

Just pushed Beta 1.1 out to Trinity Enhanced accounts. The big one this time is Trinity Hand Off — start watching something on one device and pick up exactly where you left off on another, whether that's live TV, a movie, or a show you're partway through. It works as a real queue, so if you hand off from more than one device before you get around to resuming, they all wait for you — each one lets you Resume, Delete, or say "not now, ask me later."

Rest of what's in this build:

• Create Group / Move to Group, plus a redesigned Reorder Groups navigation
• Copy Channels to another group
• Episode-watched checkmark for Shows
• New Manage Favorites screen
• Meaningfully faster navigation — the guide, groups, and live-channel browsing all feel smoother

Big one today. Trinity now has Radio built right in — a global directory of over 58,000 live stations, sitting right alongside your channels. No more juggling a separate radio app.

We also rebuilt multi-playlist cloud sync from the ground up — if you run more than one playlist, they all sync together in a single pass now instead of one at a time, and you'll get a clear results summary when it's done.
