No after sales support. Think before you buy in India
DO NOT BUY Amazfit products in INDIA, if you are ever considering buying a health tracker watch. Their after sale service is non existant.
I bought an Amazfit T-Rex 3 Pro in May'26. No doubt it is a great watch and absolute value for money (vs Apple, Garmin etc.).
It was all great for about 2 months until the watch's physical buttons stopped responding after a few underwater adventures (much within permissable limits)
Since they do not have any physical stores in India, one has to pack and ship the watch to their service centre in Gurgaon. This process took about a month during which there was no communication from their end and almost 30 days later, they sent the watch back to me saying it is fixed and tested.
Almost immediately the next day, the exact same issue happens! Basically they sent the watch back without repairing it.
Again, the same cycle started. This time I insisted on giving me a replacement watch since it is under warranty. Another 20-30 days later, they sent me the watch back, with zero communication and a broken strap and missing charger!!
I demanded them to share the job card of the repair, which they completely refused to. After following up with them multiple times, I got a response that "the replacement watch is an open-box replacement unit that has been thoroughly inspected, tested, and quality-checked by our technical team before being dispatched to you" - which basically means they have replaced it with a refurbished watch and not a new one as they are supposed to do!
Again, I knew nothing will happen, so I asked them to at least send me my charger and strap back. They agreed, but asking me to 1st ship them back the broken strap (But why??!!). I obliged again!
And Voila! Another 20 days later, they sent the strap back but no charger. This is despite me reminding them multiple times to please include the charger!
Now here I am, almost 3 months later, and 35K down the drain.
I din't write this post to get a refund or any response from Amazfit.. It is simply not worth the effort or time.
I basically want to warn anyone one in India who is considering buying Amazfit that you are gambling with your money. spend a few more quid and get Apple or Garmin. Do not compromise on zero after sales support.
