The USWNT play Spain on Saturday and both matches could be the most competitive match for the UWSNT in this calendar year leading to the World Cup next year and if all goes well they could be 100% favourites to win the World Cup in what could be a potential World Cup Final

The NCAA Women’s Soccer season begins tonight!

And here are my top 3 picks to win the national championship :

• UNC : They have the #1 recruiting class this season headlined by Scottie Antonucci and Sealey Strawn and also ranked #4 transfers with top ranked players like Georgia transfer Summer Denigan, with a star studded roster like UNC without a doubt the in my opinion my pick to win the national title and their 24th overall.

• Florida State : I wouldn’t have predicted for FSU to make it to the final four due to the fact that they lost so many of the the key players like Jordynn Dudley, Heather Gilchirst and Mimi Van Zaten have all left to go pro in the NWSL but they did an outstanding job of attracting the top transfer prospects and are now ranked #1 in transfers with prospects like Sam Erbach, Ashley Henderson and Joelle Jung, but winning back to back titles is very difficult but I believe that FSU could make a promising run this season.

• Stanford : After coming this close to winning national championship for the past three seasons I think this could be finally be their year. They have mostly have returning players back such as Mia Bhuta , Caroline Birkel, Charlotte Kohler and Y- Lan Nguyen with the addition with Bella Winn they can possibly once again be the team to beat this season.
