Is there anything I have to do on my end to make sure my tuition is paid if I'm using the Pell grant? My account says I have a balance to date and my authorized aid, but no balance due, and that I'm being charged for my classes but no payments have been made. It's not showing anything that I need to complete or that anything is unsatisfied, do I just wait?
I start classes this month (Digital Media major, downtown campus) and I'm not in contact with any other students yet but I would like to be so I could feel more comfortable. I'm not on any social media but I do have discord. Doesn't have to be same major or anything, it'd just be nice to have a few other students to talk to about starting and classes or anything else really. Anyone here down for that? Or is there somewhere else I could look/ask?
How am I supposed to use fin aid for the items in the campus store? When I look at my account I see a place for student ID but I can't enter mine..? I need an adobe subscription for one of my classes and it seems like I can't do that through the book store (where I am able to use my aid) Do I have to wait for my refund?
My financial aid just dropped for fall 2026 and my Pell grant covers my 'tuition and fees' portion, so there's some left over. I'm confused because I have an available balance in the online store that I assumed was from the left-over aid but when I did the math it was quite a bit less than I'd expect to be available if that was the case. This is my first year so I don't know how everything works just yet; where is this number coming from? I don't want to use it for my course materials yet while I'm unsure.
