Well, my professor gave me full credit for an assignment but he thinks i'm using Ai and i have other assignments i already submitted i don't use Ai but i am very concerned because i take my assignments very seriously. Does anyone have any tips to show that i haven't been using ai? or any experiences
Hey, so I went to campus on Thursday and parked in a “visitor” parking space (my bad) from 10:30 am (as a student) cus I didn’t have my parking decal yet, and I was planning to get it at building 5 later but I spent too much time at the Academic Success Center finishing homework that by the time I got out, it was already 1:10pm and I had to leave to pick up my siblings from school (about an hour away) so I left too quickly to notice that there was this paper inside a ziploc bag placed underneath my windshield wiper, until I reached the highway (the velocity made it hit the window louder and so I finally realized). I thought about stopping somewhere briefly to take it out but it had already flown away (my bad, again) so now I’m not sure whether that may have been a warning or parking ticket nor where to find out and pay for it, cus I don’t see anything on MyVC. I’m gonna get the decal on Tuesday so I’ll probably ask them then but idk if they’re gonna believe me… also on that note, how early must I arrive to campus to find parking in parking lot B (near the PAC building)? cus clearly yall be going way too early (and the earliest I can arrive is at 10:30am)

Hi, i dont want to sound dumb or anything but i need this book for one of my classes, and is really expensive. Do a need to buy it? Can i just download the pdf for free?. I dont have the money right now for the book and clases are starting soon (H2 fall). What do you guys recomend?
Is it normal to pass assignments and it not change my grade? I failed my midterm exam and it brought my grade from an A to a D & since then ive done 5 homework assignments (and passed) my grade hasnt changed at all until i did a quiz and got an 86.67% and it brought my grade down. I looked it up on google and it said its normal but ive never had this happen before so i wanted to see if this has happened to anyone else.

Is it just me, or I haven't gotten my Florida Student Assist Grant yet? I'm on the Pell Grant right now and got my Pell Grant refund two weeks ago, but I've yet to see anything pop up on my financial aid offers about the FSAG. I began my first semester in Spring and got it after a week of getting my Pell Grant refund, but this time, I don't see anything related to another grant. I'm in need of it because of certain expenses I have, and I'm concerned I may not get it this time. I even checked my email as well and registered for Fall classes in early May.
Should I be concerned? Or does it just not always arrive at the same time?
Hi! Wondering if anyone has been in a similar situation with financial aid and a late/flex start.
I was originally admitted to start Spring 2027, but I'm trying to start early for Fall 2026 H2 (classes start October 16). I submitted the early-start request, but unfortunately there was a typo on the original form that held things up. Financial Aid caught it today and I immediately resubmitted the corrected form.
I spoke with Financial Aid and they checked my account. They said everything else looks correct and there aren't any other holds/issues with my financial aid — I just have to wait for the corrected early-start request to process and then for my Fall award to be packaged.
What I'm worried about is timing. Valencia's website says that if financial aid isn't processed in time, late applicants may have to pay tuition/books out of pocket and then get reimbursed once aid comes through. I genuinely don't have the money to front the tuition, so that's not really an option for me.
Has anyone here been approved for a late/flex start this close to the beginning of classes and still had their financial aid award processed in time? If your aid was still pending when you registered, were your classes protected from being dropped for nonpayment, or did Valencia require you to pay upfront?
I'm trying to figure out whether there's anything else I should be doing while I wait, or if I just have to hope everything processes before H2 starts. Any recent experiences would be really appreciated!
TL;DR: Starting Fall H2 on 10/16, but my financial aid is still processing and I can't afford to pay tuition upfront. Has anyone been in this situation?
