Is it just me?

Is it just me, or I haven't gotten my Florida Student Assist Grant yet? I'm on the Pell Grant right now and got my Pell Grant refund two weeks ago, but I've yet to see anything pop up on my financial aid offers about the FSAG. I began my first semester in Spring and got it after a week of getting my Pell Grant refund, but this time, I don't see anything related to another grant. I'm in need of it because of certain expenses I have, and I'm concerned I may not get it this time. I even checked my email as well and registered for Fall classes in early May.

Should I be concerned? Or does it just not always arrive at the same time?

Is Nirvana necessary in existence?

Hey everyone, wouldn’t say I’m a Buddhist but I have been doing some research lately and have been pretty fascinated by everything. However, one thing that gets at me is the necessity of Nirvana.

To me, it just sounds like you’re straight up choosing to stop existing at all, and with all the things that existence can make you experience, I just can’t find the idea of nothingness more worth it than the higher realms (like the deva form realms where you live for a long time getting what you want).

Of course, I understand the lesson behind attachment, since if you cling to things as if they are permanent, you suffer. But even if you do suffer, you still get to experience lots of things, which makes it worth it.

I don’t know. Maybe it’s for when you’re just tired of existing and the cycles themselves and have transcended wanting anything at all?

Please excuse me if I sound ignorant and correct me.

For a time travel story,

Is it best to have a villain that acts as a dynamic variable to the protagonist's decisions and makes him confront his own flaw, while also not making him wrong about his perception of heroes?

The story takes place in a superhero world, but from the perspective of a depressed alcoholic, cynical 34-year-old man who is distrustful of heroes due to one who left his son to die to go after a villain 4 years ago. His marriage began to fall apart as his wife began to notice him withdrawing emotionally, and she tried her best to help him, but it all only resulted in apologies without change, making her stay until she just couldn't anymore. And he sank deeper into avoidance until work also took a toll on him and made him quit.

He ends up getting the ability to rewind time by dying, but it always sends him back 2 weeks before he got his new job as a superhero dispatcher, which he got after quitting his job at that toxic work environment he used to be in.

I just wanna find ways to make this work. Because the villain almost always adapts to the choices he makes due to how prepared he is when he traps him in a mission that forces him to make a similar choice that superhero from his past made. After accumulated trauma and failures, he ends up making that similar choice--except its outcomes are different depending on how he treated others.

And I don't want this to be shallow without also raising the scope too much since I'm a young writer (18).

I wanna explore themes of the lesser evil and the psychological cost of this while also keeping it original without unnecessary edginess. Only he remembers as well.

I also want to learn how to make the cause-and-effect flawless, so it justifies what I'm aiming for.
