Immortality Hurts
Finn (Jackie Chan Adventures): During an episode where the Black Hand has all 12 Talismans, Finn considers having the Dog (immortality) and the Horse (healing) redundant, and swaps the Horse for the Pig (optic blasts). He later learns why this was a bad idea when he gets slammed into a brick wall at a speed that probably would’ve killed him normally, causing him to name this trope.
Poseidon (EPIC: The Musical): After Odysseus overpowers Poseidon during their final confrontation, Odysseus then proceeds to torture the immortal God by stabbing him repeatedly with his own trident until he relents and calls off the storm blocking his path to Ithaca. (Art by sugar_dells)
The many victims enemies of the Chaotic Good Barbarian (Dungeon Soup): This absolute psycho of a Barbarian takes “cruel mercy” to a new level, using a potion of immortality he “helped” the Witch create to make his enemies immortal (if they weren’t already immortal like the Lich) before subjecting them to the most ironically horrible tortures he can think of, from keeping the Lich as a limbless trophy on his back to turning the Banshee into a set of bagpipes to rending the Sword Knight into a fine (and still living) paste via one million stabs with a toothpick.
