Hi, i need someones opinion about Pattaya. My family plans a trip to Thailand, and i read alot of bad opinions about this place - from ugly beaches and big amounts of clubs and sex workers. None of my family members likes partying, two of us are kids (age 7-13)

Can someone give me good arguments why we should avoid this place so i can tell my dad? He's planning the trip, and won't listen to anything i say.

edit : my dad is pickin between pattaya and pathong, and i really think pathong would be better option
