Giant Propel 2018, Is it worth it for under 1000€ ?

Giant Propel 2018, Is it worth it for under 1000€ ?

I’ve been looking for a road bike for months, until I came across this lovely frame as well as a nice Specialized SL5, and I’m still undecided between the two. It says it’s fitted with electronic Ultegra, and these wheels look quite expensive to me. As I’m not too knowledgeable about this sort of thing, do you think it’s worth it?

Does the Dogma 65.1 still make sense in 2026?

Does a Dogma 65.1 still make sense in 2026? I came across this listing for this historic bike and was really tempted—it’s going for 600 euros. I’m a bit out of the loop when it comes to bikes, so I’m not sure if it’s worth it. Plus, in the second photo, the 105 groupset looks damaged—does it need to be replaced? Thanks, everyone

A road bike that might just get you back in the saddle?

After so many years, I was planning to start cycling again, even though my body is practically just skin and bones. I’m 33, but I’ve been leading a sedentary lifestyle for a while now; I’m not very sporty, etc. Years ago I used to ride a road bike and recently that passion has been rekindled, but I know absolutely nothing about it. I’d like to buy a bike for under €1,000, but what should I look for? I’m talking about a road bike. I was thinking of a carbon bike in good condition to get me started again. I’ve had a look on BuyCycle (is it reliable?), but there’s so much choice that I can’t decide what to buy.
