Anyone tried slynd?

I’ve never been on any birth controls and my doctor recommended slynd, she gave me a few days to think about it and honestly I’m scared. I’ve only heard a few good things about it everything else I’ve heard hasn’t been great. I’m worried my symptoms won’t be fixed but will just be replaced with more.

I’d love to hear your guys experience with birth control and specifically slynd! Hopefully some good things!

Really need help with this machine!!

I took textiles in high school and that was the last time I used a sewing machine and they were newer ones, I got this singer 327k (or j?) from my grandmas and I’m not really sure where to start. I found the manual online but couldn’t figure it out, I think pieces are missing.

The top piece where the spool goes seemes to be broke the hole looks like there’s still a piece wedged in there, how can I fix this/ where can I get a new piece?

The plastic pieces near the plug also looks broken, I seen in the manual it was important, I found a replacement on eBay.

Any other advice would be appreciated! Anything else I should check for parts? Is this even worth the fixing?

I’m 19 and haven’t gone to collage or university, doing more school always just seemed impossible and I wanted to be a baker for awhile but now that I am baking and having problems with my wrist ext. I’ve been considering other fields. Fashion seems hard to get into and hard to succeed in but I really do have a passion for it, always have. I definitely want to be more of a stylist then a designer, but more then anything I just want to learn, I wanna learn about the history and silhouettes, fabrics, sewing, trends. But 20k on fashion design seems like a lot to pay just to not pursue it. Regardless, here are some of my recent designs, in rough copy’s (ignore my drawing skills) I’d like to know what you guys think :)
