love it here, this is my happy place!
don’t make much atm since i work (more than) full time & college but it’s nice to wake up in the morning make a quick jam then do some other stuff with my day.

minilogue XD absolutely rocks i love the user oscillators.
digitone II is like a dream. i previously owned a digitakt II but sold it because i honestly hate working with samples and would rather craft my own sounds. fm synthesis took a bit to wrap my head around but i love how i can get lost in this machine forever.

i see a lot of people making techno with their elektron stuff but im aiming for a more sweet trip - esque shoegaze idm sound (from their velocity design comfort album) and the digitone fm synth engine is perfect for that. mess around with the algorithms and unison and you can basically destroy the sound in the best way.

new 2026 Corolla SE

upgraded from a 2021 corolla le! loving it so far.

28k OTD but with negative equity rolled over, 33k.

dealership gave me 7k more for my old car than it was worth. old car was at 80k needing new tires & brakes soon along with bumper replacement because of a front end parking collision. old bumper was being held on by zip ties and there was a small dent on the hood & headlights. other scratches and small dents throughout the car as well.

8.99% 600 a month but going to refinance with my jobs credit union at a 4.99 rate ASAP.

people will say what they say about the payment and total price i paid but for a brand new car where i don’t have the issues the old one had, i couldn’t be happier. much more engaging drive, it’s a corolla at the end of the day put sport mode has a little pep in its step gonna get some tints on there soon because im in florida and it’s hot AF!!

digitone II send effects not working / not being applied

for some reason my digitone 2 send effects are not working. when i press func + Fx to go to the send effects page no matter what changes i make nothing is applied, when i press Func + mod to go to the mixer page and turn the send effects up, nothing is applied.

when i scroll through presets however, whatever fx are on the preset still work but no changes to the send effects do anything.

i’m on the latest firmware, has anyone run into this? does anyone know a fix ?

what’s the future outcome like given my situation?

hi,

a little background, i’m 19 and currently have two car loans in my name. one is 20k which is my current car and the other is 45k & it’s my moms car. at the time we got it, my mom needed a new car (so there’s some negative equity on her car loan) & I needed my first car so there’s toyota dealership got us both a vehicle by having me be the primary purchaser & my mom is a co-signer because I have a higher credit score than hers.

Everything was going pretty well, i make around 2400 a month with my car payment being less than 400. i have some other expenses mostly being all the utilities in my home with my mother while she pays her mortgage and car.

We’re in a bit of a predicament where coming soon (unknown when) my mom will be out of work due to immigration issues. as a result of that i began thinking of the worst happening like many naturally would & my mom is telling me the most important thing is the house and she doesn’t care to lose the car which is understandable because she worked hard for the house. i however am taking everything into account & the mortgage is already more than i make in a month and if she’s willing to stop paying the car that would leave me 45k in debt. her car payment is $700 a month, i could afford to pay her car and mine if i didnt have to deal with the mortgage as well.

it’s looking like pretty soon my credit score is going to be ruined a year into adult hood. i honestly already don’t think i’ll ever buy a house or get a new car (i have a corolla so im hoping to get a looong while out of it) and im not worried about credit cards because im honestly kind of afraid of those. i do however think it would suck to have a shitty credit score :/

Its a weird question but what do you guys think may happen?

we could sell her car and use that to put all that towards the loan but that would likely leave me with a 5 figure debt amount on my name. i know co-signing a loan means you’re legally responsible for it in the event that the other person can’t pay for it but life seems to hit you when you least expect it. i don’t know if refinancing without me on the loan is possible given her credit score being the reason why i’m on there in the first place.

i don’t know, i take responsibility for everything of course but it’s kinda scary when you’re young and we’re facing the possibility of having a really difficult future before you’ve even truly began building it
