P90 question

I’m a “fender guy” who recently went Gibson, and I’m loving the contrasts. The pickups on my SG Special are soap bar P90s. The adjustment screws have springs, and you can easily push the pickups down and the springs push them back up into position. The problem I’m having is, my picking hand inadvertently pushes the bridge pickup down as I’m playing, and it makes a clicking sound. Is there a way to stabilize the pickup? Or do I simply need to change the position of my right hand?

Tremolo Arm for 1969 Strat?

An old buddy has owned this guitar for 45 years and it's a beauty. He recently told me that he loaned the guitar to another act on the bill one night, and the person broke the trem arm and said, "Sorry". Lesson learned, but having just heard this story, I'd like to buy a new arm for him. Can anyone provide a link? I haven't been able to find any references to trem arms for Strats from this era. Thanks!
