Anyone know any burger spots/places that sell burgers on campus that are good quality? I know we have one in UC, but it’s a bit bad…

third year undergraduate here. Recently I met with a TA and found out that they’re a PhD student doing research on the same topic i’m interested in. I asked them for guidance on the topic myself, and they gave me some recommendations. It’s really rare to meet someone interested in this niche topic, so I am really happy.
That said, it is unfortunately completely irrelevant to the class being taught. I have also heard that some TAs find undergraduates to be a pain.

The pickle I have here is; How can I maintain a mentor relationship with them without it being weird? I don’t want to seem dumb/not paying attention by always talking about non-class stuff, and they do not have office hours.
