Help!!!!

Hello so I’m a baker and I start at 2am helping another store out and the store is closed and there is no night manager or anyone to open the store so me and the cleaning guy have been waiting outside for an hour. Should I go home and not look back? It seems like it’s their fault I don’t want to wait and I’m not technically on the schedule to work today but I did switch days with the bakery manager for this week. I can care less about hours right now but what should I do? Would I get in trouble even though it their fault? I don’t want to wait till 6 am that’s ridiculous

Calling out vons

Hello I work at a Vons In California and I already received a verbal written warning for calling out to much within the time frame of three months. It has been almost five months since my last call out and verbal written warning (not a write up yet) do you think it will be ok if I call out with a doctors note I will be okay for just one day or would I most likely get my first official write up?
