Any one interested Sams Club has a seasonal stock of the Brown Metal Birdfy Feeders for $126, they normally sell for $220 on the Birdfy website. If you get in store it should be by electronics, that’s where they are at mine.
Over the last few days, my feeder has been miss identifying several birds that I have had come through consistently. I’ve had goldfinches, sparrows, and a few others that used to be identified correctly now totally butchered. Is anyone else having this problem? It even went as far as to identifying a bird strictly from Europe when I live in Wisconsin.
On Friday I had a connection issue and my feeder WOULD NOT connect after being off line since 3am once I started trying to fix it it took SEVEN hours to figure out. Support didn’t help and I only got a we will get back to you within 48-72 hrs WHAT!!!
After resetting, removing and adding and removing, and then adding again the feeder to my account, doing 2 hard resets to the camera, 3 total router reboots after the third try I FINALLY got it back up. And just in time also to get my first Cardinal!!
I had no issues with any other devices connecting I have 2 ring doorbells that never dropped but this thing had major problems.
My feeder was perfectly fine until today it suddenly disconnected. I’ve tried WAY TO MANY times to count to try to reconnect I rebooted my modem and router and after everything failed to work, I contacted customer support and they told me to try everything that I’ve already tried over and over and over again. They then escalated the problem to tier 2. It sounds like they may be sending me a new feeder, but I’m hoping that maybe someone here might be able to help. I was originally getting an error 2 message but I managed to get that to stop so I now don’t know what else’s problem could be and why it’s not connecting.
If I do get a new feeder, will I end up having to send the old one back?
