Jerky is supposed to be tough

I make my venison jerky tough as hell and it's about 1mm thick. Shit could be used as wind chimes. I want something that i can chew on for a half hour not 1 minute....

Scotch Bonnets

I did everything from the soil and nutrients to the amount of sunlight entirely by the book this year and my hot peppers are abundant and HUGE. However I feel like they are taking a lot longer to ripen. Is this because they are so big? We've also have been having 60 degree nights.

I call these mountain dew cherry tomatoes

I've been cross breeding cherry tomatoes between my friends house and mine for about 7 years. We have cross bred my mountain magic cherry tomatoes with his millions. We call them mountain dew cherry tomatoes being they are homebred! Which created this monstrosity. Sorry for the Pic its night. It is 4 ft tall 6 ft around. Where the arms hit the wood chips they create new root bases and basically a new stalk. We have been training these to creep but this one got larger than any we have had. I would estimate there arw 300 ripening on the whole Bush and it wants about 3 gallons per square meter per week. Otherwise the tomatoes start slowing in growth. It is also a fertilize hog. It will start yellowing after 2 weeks. The zucchini behind is living its best life and is producing as much zucchini as 3 plants.

Weird phenotype in my new colossal dill breed

These have been popping up in my dill garden with my new breed. They don't get any taller than 2 to 3 feet but get multiple massive blooms on each plant. I also included a Pic of my cross breed of sweet millions and mountain magic. These cherry tomatoe plants have to start out with a smaller tomatoe cage but after it matures their arms touch the ground and create new root structure and start growing upwards. I get massive clusters of up to 16 per cluster and these get to be about the size of a ping pong ball. I pickle these with salsa spices and serve them with bloody Mary's and any Mexican food I make.

My colossal dill strain

I have been growing both mammoth and titanic dill at 2 different locations for 8 years to create my Collosal phenotype. Every year I would remove the first 5 inches of compost and replace it in hopes of getting rid of any of the previous years seed drop. I would then cover lightly in wood chips and water till any remaining dill plants or weeds emerged so I could pull them out. Then I would take the biggest seeds from the year previous and seed the patch. After 8 long years of growing 5 ft tall dill plants with massive blooms I cross bred them. These are my largest blooms to date. I planted the new strain in my home garden. The tallest one this year was about 6 ft tall with about 8 blooms. The seeds are HUGE. They make excellent pickles however I prefer to use a large bloom per jar plus more dill. I feel the green blooms add a deeper flavor to the pickles.

Meet Jade the Stripper!

Barrel welding is all me along with any copper on this one. This is my stripper Jade! She can strip off 4 gallons in 8 hours. I do 2 stripper runs then one spirit in my keg. I just am lucky enough to have a sand point pump I can use year round in my basement. Only down fall is I have to soak the stainless parts in clr after a run due to iron and calcium.

12 hour smoked pork belly birria

I make my birria from scratch. This time I used 5lbs of pork belly cold smoked with applewood for 6 hours. Along with 2 lbs of pork chops and 2 lbs of pork ribs also smoked for 6 hours. I smoke the peppers and roast the tomatoes, garlic and onions for 2 hours. I like my consume to stick to my tacos more than drip. So i use a few more tomatoes.

I have a Volrath 10.5 in lid I'm looking to trade for a fitting lid for the Dutch over pictured. My research says it's a #8 Lodge dutch over with a 10in lid. Says " 8 DO made in usa " on the bottom. Just a flat out trade. If someone has an extra sitting around. I know these volrath lids are worth a bit more but I just want a fitting lid.

First Pic is a tiny bit of my collection. I just moved and have been looking for cheap/free curio cabinets to modify for UG. I am very picky on what I collect. No sherbet glasses or plates unless they are very unusual.

This Pic is of my spirit shelf. From salt to holy water to little glass treats for the spirits.

Napoleon age salt cellar with Mediterranean pearls around the top base

An almost 5lb witches ball made of pure Vaseline glass. Glowing glass is known to catch spirits and eat their negative energy.

The ball sits atop a Aztec goddess. She is of the teal/apple colored glass. She looks to have been to lid to a dresser tray. She is also missing her own lid so that is how the ball sits so perfect.

Then we have one of my favorites. My holy water bottle. Found that over in France a few years ago.

The mixing spoons! Love these little guys. The fact they have made it even 70 years is astonishing. Perfect for mixing up potions of an adult variety.

In between the spoons is one of the 4 glowy horses I own. He had a hell fire glow so he made the cut for this shelf.

Finally the Murano candies. Found in france at the largest flee market in the world spreading 33 hectares. Some spirits just need a treat we can't chew.

The second Pic is what's waiting to find its forever cabinet. In total I have 1378 pieces in my collection.
