Learning Wing Chun in Foshan

I will come back to China (Guangdong) sometime in October to visit my Hakka relatives in Meizhou, and I also plan to return to Guangzhou to visit more relatives. I’m also planning to go to Foshan (where I have relatives living) to visit the memorials of Ip Man and Wong Fei-hung and hopefully learn Wing Chun. Does anyone have any recommended places?

I’ve wanted to learn martial arts ever since I was a kid, but my parents never allowed me to because they viewed it as dangerous. Honestly, I’ve always wanted to learn Wing Chun, but there aren’t really any schools in my country, Thailand, that specialize in it. Other than Muay Thai, the 2nd or 3rd most popular martial arts here are Taekwondo and Silat Melayu.

I chose Foshan for a reason, since it’s considered the home of Wing Chun, and I know martial arts culture is very strong there, unlike in Meizhou (martial arts honestly aren’t really a thing that Hakka people do from what I’ve seen — it’s mostly Cantonese people who practice them).

Also, do the schools there usually know English? My Mandarin and Cantonese are very bad, and I know 0% of my family’s Hakka dialect, so I think it would be better if I could find a place where people can speak English.

Why is the Minnan dialect spoken in Huizhou labeled as "Hokkien" and not Teochew or other Chaoshan dialects??

I've only passed through Huizhou on a high-speed train en route from Guangzhou to Meizhou, so I cannot confirm whether the Min dialect spoken in some areas there is Teochew or not. However, I've noticed that Huizhou is very diverse in terms of dialects, and it borders the Chaoshan region.

One thing that seems strange to me is that the Minnan dialect there is apparently Hokkien rather than Teochew, which feels geographically unusual. My theory is that the Hokkien dialect in Huizhou may be evidence that the Teochew language originally came from Hokkien due to migrations from Fujian. However, the Hokkien spoken in Huizhou may not have evolved as much as the one in Chaoshan, so it somehow remained closer to Hokkien.

That might not be the case since Zhongshan has an Eastern Min dialect and I don't know how that ended up there.

I've also noticed that some Hokkien-speaking communities seem to be located inland, though I'm not entirely sure. In particular, I'm wondering where most Hokkiens in Huizhou actually live. Since I've only passed through the area by train, I can't really be certain about any of this, so could someone please explain?

Is Nanlang Min dialect still spoken in Nanlang, Zhongshan?

I will come back to China (Guangdong) sometime in October to visit my Hakka relatives, and I also plan to come to Guangzhou again to visit more relatives. I also have plans to visit Zhongshan and Sun Yat-sen's hometown in Nanlang. From what I know, Eastern Min (the Nanlang dialect) is spoken there. As someone who is a fan of obscure and unusual languages, I’ve never heard Eastern Min before and am very curious to hear it. However, I was wondering if it is still spoken in Nanlang and whether it is commonly spoken there.

Sometimes, Shanwei Hoklo is listed as Teochew.

I posted this on another subreddit last month but no one replied so I decided it is best to ask here. From my understanding, Shanwei borders the Chaoshan area and has deep cultural ties with the region and similarities in the language but the dialect spoken in Shanwei is the Shanwei Hoklo dialect from my understanding (which some linguists consider as a dialect of Teochew itself). But last month I met a Teochew person in Hong Kong who said she was born in Shanwei and she can speak 4 languages (English, Cantonese, Mandarin and Teochew). She considers herself Teochew. I also learned later that most Teochew in Hong Kong comes from Shanwei. To be honest I never met anyone from Shanwei in my life, This person in Hong Kong is the first. so could anyone please help me confirm? I'm confused.
