Are GCash recruiters really notorious for ghosting applicants?
I was headhunted by this GCash recruiter. Masipag tumawag, magtext, and mag-follow up ng available schedule.
They were fine up until the hiring manager interview. I asked for an update a week after the interview; and when I didn’t get a response, I just assumed I didn’t pass.
A week after w no updates, they messaged me saying I’m up for the final interview with their head. They contacted me while I was in meetings and when I didn’t reply after 30 mins, the recruiter proceeded to call me 3x —which I only saw after my meeting ended.
Now, I asked to reschedule the final interview since I had to attend to an emergency at home cause of the heavy rains. I texted and emailed, but no one from HR responded UNTIL I had to propose a new time directly through the calendar invite. Just this morning, they suddenly cancelled the new sched for the final interview WITH NO EXPLANATION OR NOTICE.
Such a bad experience lol they could’ve at least texted or emailed first before suddenly cancelling.
