What is performance over time, and how to track this for use in nbox? Can it be limited to recent 3 years ratings?
Please advise if anyone has used this.

Hey everyone,
I’m an HRIS admin. We are migrating real salary and allowance data into our production tenant soon. Currently I have proxy access in sandbox but that'll be remove once the comp data moves into production.
Losing proxy access will tank my ability to test business processes, monitor workflows, and troubleshoot end-user issues.
How does your organization balance HRIS testing without enabling proxy? Thanks!
Hi Community,
We have a Mid-Year Review stuck at the Get Additional Manager Evaluation sub-step.
It is configured as skippable, but managers cannot see or execute the Skip action from their inbox. I do not want to cancel the parent Start Performance Review event, as it is in progress and contains active data.
Because this is a nested sub-step and lacks a standalone transaction ID, it does not appear in standard transaction queues for overrides.
How can an administrator force-skip or bypass this specific sub-step on the parent record?
Thanks!
Hi,
Is it possible to maintain the same probation outcomes (1 set) across all countries in the tenant? Having to set separate outcomes by country when they are all the same results in a number of reference IDs.
Hi
I had performed a mass cancel for incompete bps of terminated employees and the result is that the unassigned tasks are now in my task. How do remove them?
What's the recommendation to handle or cancel pending bps and tasks of terminated employees?
Hi,
This alert comes up during 'Change Job' task for HR Partner during a transfer of worker to a manager who is not a manager in Workday. How do I disable this? The task to create supervisory org is currently limited to Org Partner.
Please advise.
Hi all — need a calculated field that only returns Termination Date / Last Working Day when the worker is currently inactive, and blank when active (rehired). These feed integration reports for AD and payroll.
I need a dynamic Workday setup that identifies the first manager in a worker’s management hierarchy with Compensation Grade S1 or above.
Example:
The S1 manager should be able to:
The qualifying manager may be at level 1, 2, 3, 4 or higher.
I have SupOrg Manager, Manager’s Manager and Management Chain, but I cannot find a way to dynamically assign security or BP tasks only to the first S2+ manager.
Is this possible using constrained security groups, management hierarchy security, calculated fields or custom organization roles?
Is there a supported way to dynamically find the first S2+ manager and assign To Do, Questionnaire and Action steps to that person?
I'm also open to alternative options to address the use I'm looking for.
Hi
How to correct hire date if it's in the past? I'm getting this message "Select a new hire that that is on or after today's date"
I'm configuring the "Review Probation Period" business process and need some validation on my calculated field / condition setup.
Goal: Only managers at Compensation Grade S1–S4, M1–M4, or E1–E5 should need to approve. Anyone outside these levels should be skipped automatically, with the process walking up the chain until it hits someone in that range.
My current setup:
Questions:
Would really appreciate input from anyone who's set up similar grade-based skip logic before. Thanks!
Hi
I want to use EIB Assign Roles to replace assignees. How can I generate data for this EIB?
I'm not getting it right.
Thanks!
Hi
I want to use EIB Assign Roles to replace assignees - I have two scenarios. If anyone has sample EIB to share, pls do.
I am unable to generate data for this EIB. Any suggestion how to do so?
Thanks!
Use case:
Recruiter to request asset for new hire through questionnaire, and the responses to be routed to IT. We don't have a security group for IT.
- How to share response to a helpdesk email id
- Any other alternatives that can be used to get the asset request at hire in HCM to helpdesk email id
Thanks!
Hi,

Hi
I want to set up onboarding plan as I saw in GMS tenant. There is some info in the community but I can't figure the most effective sequence.
Any guidance or recommended steps to follow? I found this set up in GMS and we could do with something nice like this.
Hi,
I saw this available on GMS at Hire Employee. The window showed up to 'Search for Person' who might already be in the system.
There are many options available and in our tenant only 'search by name' is set up. What are the tasks required to set up to be able to search by other attributes such as
Please advise.
Hi,
At pre-hire, there's a field 'country'. Does that follow the country of hiring or the candidate's country of origin? Please advise the actual use of this field.
How can I set up this? I saw that this feature is available and would like to enable for the new joiners.
Any recommendations or guidelines to get started?
We’re doing a Workday payroll integration, and the local payroll system has more detailed address fields because they are required for statutory/payroll purposes.
Has anyone used a design where the local payroll system remains the source of truth for the statutory address, and Workday only receives a concatenated/summarized version in the standard address lines?
For example, the payroll system keeps structured fields like house no. / street / district / province / postal code, then the integration combines those fields and pulls them into Workday Address Line 1 and Address Line 2.
is this doable?
Hi,
We are using probation review with questionnaire. And currently the BP initiates only when triggered by HRIS or Sup Org or HR Partner by going to 'Manage Probation Review' for worker and we click on 'Start Review' to get the bp started. Is there a way to auto start on it's own?
