Scandinavian boy name
I'm pretty much looking for Old Norse names or names that have Old Norse origin.
My husband and I are having our second child this year. I'm Danish, he isn't, and it's important to me that our son gets a name with Scandinavian origin (and I mean actual Scandinavian origin, not something like Lars that's just a Scandinavian version of Laurentius).
We found a name that we both like which would be easy to pronounce for both sides of the family. The only problem is that it literally means half Danish. My husband says it doesn't matter, and I don't know if I'm overthinking it or not? But I want more options if they are out there. I have looked at every website possible, so please tell me if you have ideas!
We live in a Nordic country, and I honestly don't care if my son's name is pronounceable in English, my name isn't and it has never been a problem.
To give examples I like names like Brynjolf, Asger, and Asbjørn, but those are unfortunately out for various reasons.
