Moving into an apartment-style suite with a kitchen, what should I absolutely bring?

I’m a rising sophomore and I’m going to have a kitchen for the first time next semester (Allegheny Hall) and will most likely switch to a commuter plan (so basically no dining hall). I’ve talked to everyone in the suite already and this is what we have to bring so far:

- microwave
- toaster oven
- air fryer
- crock pot
- various plates and silverware
- I plan on bringing a few pans

Is there anything else that might be useful to bring or will this be enough to at least last the semester?

Had my first pelvic exam today…didn’t go very well

Hello all, today I had my first pelvic exam (19F) and it didn’t go very well, which I unfortunately figured might happen.

Ever since I tried using a tampon for the first time when I was thirteen, inserting anything into my vagina causes a lot of pain, mainly this burning sensation and tightness. The pain subsides ever so slightly once’s it gets past the initial insertion, but usually the pain is so bad I don’t want to keep putting anything in there.

At first I figured maybe I was just anxious, so I had my partner try to finger me when I very much wanted him to do so, and he still was only able to get the tip of his finger in before I told him to take it out.

My obgyn was only able to get the speculum (that was lubricated) about a centimeter inside before the pain started, she even switched to a Q tip which somehow hurt even more.

My period still happens as usual, and sometimes I have to push a bit to pee, which I thought was normal but I guess it’s not.

My obgyn referred me to a pelvic floor PT, but I’ve heard there can be a waitlist for those + expenses. Is there anything I can do myself to help fix this issue?
