Run-of-River Pumped Storage?

EDIT: So I'm silly and realized what I'm describing would just be an isthmus-placed dam, with no point of upstream pumping. Thanks u/gears_and_beers

I love the idea of pumped storage batteries connected to renewables. But finding two lakes/reservoirs near each other but at different elevations seems difficult, especially if you don't want to pump water for miles and miles.
Could one use a very curvy river, like the Mississippi, and run a pumped storage through a narrow isthmus? Using the elevation difference that makes the river run to pull from the upstream during grid demand and pull from the downstream during low demand times?

[TOMT][SONG][Post-War?] Song about a fire at a brothel

Hey y'all! My Dad learned a ton of classic country comedy songs that he tried to teach me. He sang a filthy one once when I was in school but didn't want to repeat it. I suspect it's from the same time period as Homer and Jethro (i.e. '47-'80) but I don't know.
It's a country comedy song about the local "home for wayward girls" burning down, and how the mayor and all the other local luminaries run out with their pants down. Can't seem to find it for love nor money. Any help?

Probability Question Inspired by Stardew Valley

Hey y'all! I'm not great at probability beyond common games of chance (e.g. Monopoly die rolls and card counting). I've been trying to figure out unions/intersections for a while and I just can't seem to get it.
What's got me thinking is something from Stardew Valley, the chill farming game. The player can have a cave that spawns mushrooms regularly. There are six boxes and they all spawn mushrooms at the same time. The chance of each mushroom appearing in a box are:
Common 69.8%
Red 12.3%

Purple 2.5%
Chanterelle 7.3%
Morel 8.1%

There is a useful item, the Life Elixir, that requires one Red, one Purple, one Chanterelle, and one Morel. I want to calculate the chance that in a single spawning (all six boxes on the same day) the player could get at least one Red, Purple, Chanterelle, and Morel to make a Life Elixir.
My trouble is I've got no idea how to calculate this, and every time I've tried Wolfram it either goes over the text limit or over my head. Anyone wanna break it down for a social science major chasing a curiousity?
