A better plot twist for Danger by Design.

If you remember the plot (spoilers ahead), everything revolves around the famous fashion designer Minette, who has started acting strangely and constantly wears a mask. She explains this as a statement against society. For some reason, Minette is delaying the process of designing a dress for the First Lady, getting rid of her assistants, and spending a lot of time alone. As the story unfolds, we find out that espionage and intelligence agencies are involved. If i remember correctly the reason for her strange behavior is that she works for spies and is supposed to plant a listening device in the dress. And she only wears the mask because of a botched face tattoo.

I always found the ending kind of lame. I think they could have written a much more interesting twist.

My idea:

Imagine if, at the end of the game, Nancy declared: "I know why you're wearing the mask—to hide that you're not the real Minette."

I feel like this would have been the most logical twist: the spies replaced the real Minette with an impostor to gain access to the dress.

Why is Minette taking so long to work on it? - Because she isn't a real designer and needs help from her accomplices to make the dress.

Why does she get rid of her assistants? - Because she can't have anyone close to her for too long, or they might suspect something.

Her mood swings, bizarre demands, and tantrums are just a way to cover up her actual suspicious activities and distract everyone from what would really raise questions.

And of course, in this scenario, the mask isn't just a quirky whim, but a deliberate tactic to hide the double's face.

I think this kind of twist at the end of the game would have been more engaging and logical, and it would have done a better job explaining why a famous designer suddenly changed so dramatically.

They could have also left more clues throughout the game—for instance, making her "forgetful" about certain past facts, or on the contrary, showing that she knows things you wouldn't expect from a typical fashion designer.
