Admission doubt
Hello seniors. I got 2401X rank in jee mains. By mathongo college predictors I am in borderline for shibpur IT branch ( maybe i can get through csab) and I also have a medium chance for EE. I am from west bengal, gen male. I initially wanted something related to cs or mnc as I like maths and coding, but for that I might need to go for iiits. I want to stay in wb only, so does IT branch has good coding culture? And if you guys have any other recommendations regarding branch or college, it will be appreciated.
Also, i live in Salt lake. So can I opt for attending college via home or is it compulsory to take hostels? And is there any other benefits for choosing hostel ( please share your personal experience)
