I will say I was so excited to purchase my vehicle. I have had it not even a month and crossed 3k miles. So far my driveability experience has been horrendous…it’s been into the dealer for realignment, awful shifting, faulty trim pieces (on order), and now a squeak from my brake pedal.

My biggest concern is the transmission. Note I own a 19 and 22 passport. Yes I understand this is a 10 speed tranny and not a 9, but I’ve owned more than a dozen brand new cars and none have driven as terrible as this. The degree of rough shift varies widely day to day. Sometimes it drives close to normal and other times it has felt like you are riding a bucking bronco. I’m a a loss. I’ve filed with Honda and waiting case assignment.

Trim pieces easy fix, not concerned, but the driveability with this transmission is a huge concern. At times it is sluggish to accelerate, when braking to come to a complete stop it seemingly wants to lurch and not stop. The rough shift at low speeds is approaching intolerable at times. I have concern about the safety of my vehicle.

When I took it to the dealer it has 1k miles and they said it’s normal; it’s learning your driving. Unfortunately I’ve put another 2k on it and at times it can seem better, but at times worse.

I want Honda to flush and drain transmission a few times and reprogram, check battery, and inspect sensors within the drive train.

My question… has anyone had similar symptoms with their vehicle that Honda successfully corrected? Anyone with sqeeky brake pedal (new issue for me)?

I simply want the car to drive properly and enjoy it. This has been an awful experience for me thus far…
