My friend is 28, and he's been dating a young African woman from Cameroon who is 26 for five months. She's a foreign student and finished her studies a year ago. She had him do a knock-on-the-door ceremony, and he says it's only to meet her family, but Google and everywhere else says it's a very serious sort of pre-engagement party. We find it very strange that four adult men who hardly know my friend would approve of this. We think it's a scam.
