I was thinking of asking him to bring back Pueblo blue any better options? I’m from the U.S

My plan was to do fire protection in the national guard then work in Civilian firefighting, but my recruiter told me that the credentials don’t transfer over to civilian firefighting. Now I’m trying to decide if I should still wait for a position to open up in fire protection or if I should shoot for a different career within the guard. I also live in CA if that helps.
