Question: Can I build one Geoscape in the surface of my colony and another on the underground? or I am limited to build just one per colony.

What tittle says, I know geoscape is a wonder and you can only make one, but I want to know if you can bypass this by building one on the surface and the underground, because the new description in the research tab says it is both a surface and an underground building.

Have ever abandoned a colony to start over somewhere else on the map? If it a difficult process?

Kinda what the tittle says, I made another post asking about job priorities and I want now ask about this, because I have to be honest, I am probablh playing the game "Wrong" because as soon as thing start to go south, or my colony starts looking awful because my planning skills on layouts are terrrible, my knee jerk reaction is to delete save and start over.

And I am thinking that maybe I should change that, rather than completely abandoning the save just abandond the current settlement and start somewhere else so I don't feel bad because I started to feel frustrated and feeling like I can't salvage a situation.

Is just that I have abandoned saves that, I was kinda happy with them, but then the base started to look ugly or things started to spiral and I didn't know how to fix them or get back up.

I deleted a save because of that, the base was looking ... Not great, then I started running out of food and I could get the job priorities right and I feel anoyed.

Have any of you ever abandoned a settlement when you feel like it is unsalvageable? Or just ressetle somewhere else or engage with that mechanic at all?

Any advice for when you feel like you are in an unsalvagble situation?

How do you set priorities? because none of the work I set get done. Also how do you take prisoners reliably.

Hi I am new been playing for a couple of weeks, and what the title says, how do you set priorities?

To be clear, I don't mean how to open the work meny and manually set the priorities from lowest to higher manually, I know how to do that, what I want know is, how I can set priorities so, for example, my farmer colonist who also has the highest level with animals and thus the only who can tame certain animals, as well as train them, actually does that instead of just randomly switching between sowing then training, then hauling, then cleaning.

Like I had a colonist that was good a crafting, plants and animals, I tried to set her to do plants first and if that was done or there wasn't any plants to harvest, then have her do the animal handle, and then crafting.

But she always either did plants or crafting, but never animal handling, as a matter of fact none of the colonist I had did any animal handling, even though I tried to have my colonist not have more than three jobs, the only times I did manage to get them to do handling was setting handling on priority 1 or 2.

Basically I had to constantly micromanage them to get them do the stuff I actually wanted them to do in the order I wanted them to.

How do I set priorities, what order do I set so I can have a colonist alternated between several task without neglecting several of them?

I assumed that the way priorities work is that colonist check task that are on higher bracket going from 1 to 4 and then gradually work their way down if there is no work to be done, but I am not sure anymore.

Also how do you take prisoners consistently? Because every time I try to take prisoners because I se colonist with a skill or set of skill I want/need, I can't never get my colonist to not kill them, I even tried to have them fight bare handed and that doesn't seem to work either.

I Just feel stuck, I am trying but I don't know what am I doing wrong here, half of the time my base is covered in grime and unless I set cleaning as a high priority work no one does it, same with hauling my colonist will do the job but then will leave stuff littering all over the place, and I set hauling as a high priority job, they are never farming or researching or crafting.

That and I am always missing important skill because whenever a good colonist shows up in a raid my colonist suddenly decide to murder everyone, but when is someone with a skill I don't need or has terrible traits, they suddenly merciful.
