My final Hilda project is planned for a limited theatrical run in the U.S. with it releasing on YouTube later Summer 2027.

I can’t believe this has to be said, but Luke Pearson was never a self insert for Hilda's dad, Anders, during the making of season 3.

For those who are unaware, some drama occurred from him and his then partner at the time, Philippa, in 2024, after he allegedly "cheated" on her.

I’m pretty sure the two have gotten on good terms since then since they’re following eachother on Instagram again for a while now and it seems like nothing else from that has popped up since

Anders was inspired by various dads from various people working on the show, primarily Stephanie Simpson's dad, (second pic) and had nothing to do with Luke Pearson's cheating allegation at the time.
