I just watched an hour long video essay on the entire series and the narratives. And they're actually pretty good a lot of the time. Deku and Shiggy and the 'reaching out', All for One being the man dying to go back to his prime where everything he took was, vs All Might, the dying man making his new prime thanks to everyone he taught, etc.

But things change in fanfiction. One example I could make is Stain. He's Iida's big bad, the one moment where he strays from rules and regulations, but outside of Tensei being crippled, not a lot of things to contrast. What I'd do is maybe change it with Ochako. Her storyline with her wanting to support her parents never goes anywhere, so that could be an interesting angle.

Other could be Toga. I'm going to be the first to admit I'm a Toga Hater, but that's because of her attitude, her character still has some good things about it. So maybe instead of being Ochako's villain, she could replace Muscular and be one of Izuku's recurring villains. Everyone knows about the part of the quirk nerd and all, but what I'm imagining is that if Toga was quirkless, her life would have been MUCH better, and since OFA was revealed eventually, seeing someone fight so much to be 'normal', which is opposite of Toga's ideology could be interesting.

Or maybe smaller narratives, maybe the Culture Festival, instead of being about Jirou and her being shy about what makes her special, could be about Iida and his inability to be chill, needing to learn to relax appropriately.

Let's say Izuku has the powers from Uta from One Piece, because why not. It's a pretty good quirk and he's destined to be a top 10 Hero.

Sadly, this has caused Jirou and Komori to try to influence them to their sides. Jirou often shares Spotify playlists from indie rock and classic rock, while Komori often tries to show Izuku the way of Male Idols.

You know those fics where it's MHA, but everything is terrible. The Heroes are horrible people, HSPC is corrupted as fuck, civilians are literally Satan reincarnated.

Well, let's do the opposite. Izuku has to train in Might Tower, because other Hero agencies already clean Dagobah regularly. While Heroes are well paid and all, every Hero Training program makes it a goal to include moral formation. The HSPC is a transparent Government Agency that does its best so that everyone in the Hero society can be as happy as can be. Even if Bakugou was still a bully, that alone barred him from being able to enter the Hero Course in U.A. Civilians help, and can still use their quirks without being considered Vigilantes, to a reasonable degree. Quirk Education and counseling is a quality mandatory program to help every kid who needs it.

The premise of the fic is simple: Mei needed something fun to do with her free time, so what did she do? An anonymous site where U.A. studies could say whatever they wanted, incognito. Surely nothing wrong would happen.....

I've already read a lot of Izuku x Most of canon, so I'm feeling like reading some Izuku x OC to change my perspective a bit. I've read "Abandoned: Humanity's drift" and liked seeing Izuku with someone with a fresh personality/backstory.

Based on a TikTok I just saw, but the opening during the Cultural Festival makes it look like Kyoka is the protag of a romcom.

So Kyoka's the 7th opening, and Izuku is Bokurano.

Kyoka talking with the girls: "And I... I'm scared I'm falling for him really hard... but he really gives the beat to my music... you know?"

Izuku, at the same time, is fighting a 2v2 of him and All Might vs Shiggy and AFO.

Was watching edits of Izuku Midoriya Rising, and thought that if for us regular people is inspiring as fuck, to the MHA verse that must be a peak moment.

Every person in Japan that likes heroes has one of those figurines in their home.

All Might may have been the Nº 1 Hero for around 40 years, but he wasn't the first one to have that positions. Heroes like Hooded Rider, the Super Squadron, Mister Japan have held the position. But Recovery Girl, she was Nº 1 for almost 6 years. Between being attractive, youthful, having a healing quirk in a time people were being hurt and her badass attitude, obviously she was going to be Nº1. Her most popular clip was when a Villain attacked while she was mid operation and she defeated him in seconds without even letting them enter the room, just for her to continue and have a successful operation right after.

I've seen fics where an Aged-up Izuku is Spidey, Superman and even Green Lantern, but they're mostly solo Heroes. Batman's greatest strength though has always been that he's never alone, Alfred makes sure he's still a man, instead of the night, according to Tim he needs a Robin to be the best him, and Dick, Jason, Tim, Steph and Damian do their job greatly.

So with Izuku as Batman, who could fill these places?

I'm already seeing stuff like Melissa as Batgirl/Oracle. A part of me thinks that Hawks could be Nightwing? But at the same time he's not the kinda character that could have a secret Identity. Yui Kodai could make a great Black Bat probably.

Toga's lawyer drank themselves to sleep when they saw the charges. Murder, Mass Murder, Terrorism, Sexual Assault, Cannibalism, Harassment, Fraud, Identity Theft.... etcetera.

Jirou "Oh my god, are you tracking our menstrual cycles?"

Ashido "Todoroki, this is so personal... and so accurate."

Yaoyorozu "Todoroki, this is really creepy. I don't understand why you would do this."

Todoroki "I can explain." Silence. "Oh, I thought you'd keep yelling over each other. I really can explain. You all know I have trouble with social cues and usually make someone angry with what I say, and it was happening more with you girls than with people like Midoriya or Iida, so when I noticed fluctuating patterns, I started to graph to know when to shut up. By the time I realized what I was doing, the results were already showing, and it was easier to deal with."

Yaoyorozu "Did you ever think about telling us about this?... I feel so violated right now."

Todoroki "Chocolate?"

Yaoyorozu "Yeah, thanks...... TODOROKI!!!"

There's about six seasons (and a movie that may or may not happen) of more wacky Shoto shenanigans, actually making a study group and giving characters the personalities of the show would be really funny.

• Everyone can have a quirk awakening, considering they train hard enough, you can't pass UA if you don't have one
• The Sports Festival doesn't have a tournament arc; instead, the tournament arc goes for the licensing exam, and it's between a lot of schools
• After the first war, instead of attacking all of Japan, AFO puts most of his power into hunting Izuku, so he leaves the country with All Might and is constantly on the move, having a one/two year time-skip to make every character stronger.
• Give Toga, Shigaraki, and Magne a proper villain name
• Give more students, or at least a select few, a form change. A few examples would be Shouto Phosphor, Pinky Acidman, Invisible Girl Glitch, Red Riot Unbreakable, and Deku with Full Cowl, 100% Cowl, Overdrive, and Carnage.

By love triangle i especially mean love triangles where both sides are loveable but you know one side is gonna lose, imagine Raku, Kosaki and Chitoge from Nisekoi, Hachiman, Yui and Yukino from Oregairu, or the trio from Blue Box (I haven't watched the anime but an edit made me cry once).

Like imagine Izuku is best buds with Jirou, they both have great banter, and go great with each other, but suddenly Mina gets interested in Izuku and her outgoing attitude gains the attention of the boy. For added angst Mina and Kyoka are great friends, so Kyoka can't even bring herself to hate Mina.
