Choosing a "Choppy market " - like gold or USOil.

And just placing Orders at Support or resitance levels.... all over the chart.

Then putting the take profit not to far away, keep it really close. Like in Gold for example about 8 points.

But choose a higher lotsize.

No stop loss, because it might be triggered.

Do this at many levels at many points.

It 's win win win, no ?

If I place it not ar extrem levels, where it will maybe not go back up or down....but just keep it in the middle zone - I will always have profits.

Or am I missing something?

Hello. At tradingview the current prove for USOIL is at 103,9 - at MT5 it Shows 107.5

How can that be???

Has anyone experienced this? Not to be able to close winning positions?!

Internet works Just fine. Take profit does not Trigger, even when widely crossed.

Loosing positions I could Just Close fine.

Happened 3 Times by now! Thus is Not a coincidence.

I Position had reached the profit target, but it did not trigger it.

(I am still new to trading)

So I realzied by now, that the stop losses or profit targets get only triggered, when the full candle reaches the target... somehow, idk. Feel like it also depends on how fast it breaks through.

Still, this time it CLEARLY had reached the profit target, it went even clearly below it. (I was in sell).

But the Position did not close.

So I wanted to close it manuell, but it did not work.

Just did not work, nothing happened.

I am using MT5.

Only afterwards, when the win was way leiser I was able to close it, before it goes back into 0/ ...minus.

Is this maybe a scam? Manipulation of the broker?

I was thinling it muss, be, because it happened two times.

I registered new im that broker (vantage) , it was the first day trading.

Has this happened to anyone else??

Is there any reason why I would not be able to close the position?

Hey, hello. My biggest issue is to find a broker. Really, please help here in that issue. Į have one app, that offeres relatively high leverages - like in gold 1:300. But I can only use it in my phone, they don't offer a Version for the computer and it markes it much mirė difficult to trade well.

Į was suggested a few.

Axi - they said it's up to 1:1000 leverage on gold. Į don't even News that much. 1:300 is good. 1:500 would be nice.

Į registered there, Į in fact have only 1:30. Don't kniw why, būt thus is how it is.

Exness - it's Not available in Germany.

Liquid brokers - but it has a really bad reputation in Trustpilot.

Like - please - Į wana start trading - in the computer.

With MT5/MT4/C-Trader...whatever.

Just a computer version.

On a broker with a leverage in gold with 1:300 plus.

That is trustworthy and pats out.

Hello. į am quite new.

Į am using technical analysis, like trendlines, Į mark highs and lows...

Į read expert advice in important levels and support resistance levels what them say the general Trend is....

and also the forum here about what people say.

Still Į am Always loosing. Sometimes Į gold in to Long, then get out at probably the worst exit..ten it goes back up.

The Chart is Just making crazy things nonstop.

Į am asking experienced traders - is gold really "hard" to trade at the Moment?

Or is it a hard Instrument in general?

If so - ist there an "easier" instrument?

Hello. As the title says, I am looking for a broker, where I can pay in my own money and which has a high leverage (1:200, maybe even 1:300) on gold.

Every broker I found, just has 1:20.

Only futures have higher leverage, but I am bit scared of futures, I don't know how that works and know nothing about it.

So by now I know, that some charts/instruments (however you wanna call it) correlate.

Sometimes positively, sometimes negatively.

For example gold and silber ... positively.

In contrary to Dollar, that's a negative correlation, If I'm right - to gold.

Or bitcoin and other kryptocurrencies- the ithers are also influences by Bitcoin, if that's right .

(Please correct me if Į am wrong!)

Is it like minute to minute ..? Or more like a correlation in days? ...

Minute to minute to minute ( even second to second?) would mean, that there's some automatic correlation, based in computers... Or just any other direct correlation, for any others reasons

Any others causes/reasons for correlation would be ..so in Dollar and Gold : Investors Putting their Money Into "Safe spaces" - so in Times of war, gold is save...people Invest there ...instead of Dollar? -> Dollar goes down.

But does anyone know ir has something to say?

I am relatively new to trading...and I have passed a challenge with Atmos!

It's called "Turbo-Challenge"- where you oay only 5 Euro and the rest only after passing!

I bought it, because , well, only 5 Euro.

But I have read so many comments, that it's a scam and they will denie you the payment and come up with "rules", that you did not follow.

So now I don't know if I should pay the rest to get a funded account.

I am scared, that I will pay for nothing, as they maybe then denie me the payment.

Has anyone had experiences with Atmos as a Prop-Firm?
