New contract advice / situation / blue light card (pay monthly phone + broadband)

Hi guys, looking for any pointers. This thread is a real help by the way, thanks to all who contribute.

My situation:

- I have Pixel 8 pro, 24month ending in 7 days £33 EE all rounder (+ £31.56 device payment)

- My broadband expires 30 days, Essentials: Full Fibre Gigabit £55.99 month

- I am a blue light card NHS worker, with no discount for this applied against existing accounts

- I'm keen to renew my broadband and handset. I hate the idea of a 3 year contract, but willing to do it for a top line handset that i wont mind keeping that long (S26 ultra, Iphone 17 pro max, or Pixel Pro 10 XL) . I am also toying with the idea of going sim only and keeping the Pixel 8 Pro as its doing fine.

-I have requested a PAC code via text and received it. I am now going to wait a couple of days to see if EE retentions contact me.

My questions:

- My question is, what's my chances of getting a better deal than the website offers?

- Will blue light card make any difference to renewal seeing as all blue light offers seem to be for new customers only

- Any other tips for when i eventually have a conversation with retentions
