Sony A6700 + Sony 70-350mm lens for birdwatching

I’d been on the fence about this lens for a while and when i saw it in amazon prime week, I bit the bullet and i’m SO glad I did.

Have mostly been using it for birdwatching and I feel like i’m finally testing the capabilities of the A6700’s bird eye tracking, and it’s just brilliant. I couldn’t recommend it more and just wish I’d have got it sooner tbh.

Just wondering if anyone had any tips for using it in low light? I took it out to photograph some owls the other day and it struggled a little bit.

Is the Sony 70-350mm worth it with an A6700?

EDIT: Thanks everyone for all your feedback! You’re really selling it to me 🤣

I’ve reviewed so much footage and photography but I just still can’t decide! Hoping to use it mainly for birding/wildlife - if anyone thinks there’s something better out there, I’d love to know.
