I’ve been getting this clicking noise when recording. it’s constant and is being picked up even when there’s no noise being made. Goes away when i hold the mic vs. when it’s on the mic stand. It’s driving me insane trying to fix it, anyone have any ideas on a solution?

I’ve tried different microphones. Got a new XLR cable.
Used my laptop at my friends house with his setup and didn’t have a problem. This is a bedroom studio setup i’ve been using for 10 years and never had this issue until recently. haven’t changed anything to it so for it to suddenly be doing this is throwing me for a loop
