My rank is too high, so I'm not getting SGSITS or DAVV in the regular rounds. I'm waiting for the CLC rounds, but they will most likely offer only lower branches, which I'm not interested in.

I wanted to ask if I have a chance of getting UIT RGPV CSE or any CSE specialization. These are the only branches I'm interested in there. If anyone has any idea about the cutoff of r2 , please let me know.

This year, a new college has been added to MPDTE counselling: NITTTR Bhopal. Since this is the first year it is offering B.Tech programs, I'm a bit confused about choosing it because there is hardly any information or placement data available.

I also have options like SOIT/UIT RGPV, SATI Vidisha, and MITS Gwalior, but I'm not really interested in MITS since it's too close to my home.

If anyone has any information or personal experience regarding these colleges, especially NITTTR Bhopal, please share your thoughts. Also, what would be the ideal preference order among NITTTR Bhopal, SOIT/UIT RGPV, SATI Vidisha, and MITS Gwalior?

I'm participating in MPDTE B.Tech counselling 2026.

My situation is:

• I will most likely get a government college (maybe SATI Vidisha/RGPV/LNCT 1994/MITS or similar college) in Round 2.
• I want to secure that seat by completing reporting and paying the admission fee.
• After that, I also want to participate in the CLC round because I might get a better college or branch.

My question is:

Can I keep my Round 2 admission as a backup and still participate in CLC?

If I get a better seat in CLC, can I migrate to that college? And if I don't get anything better in CLC, will my Round 2 admission remain valid?

Has anyone done this before in MPDTE counselling? I'd really appreciate hearing from someone with actual experience.

As many of the government scholarships have a criteria in which one is eligible for only one scholarship , i saw many scholarships in which this eligibility criteria mentioned in it so i just want to confirm do this criteria go with private scholarships as well?

actually my crl is 4 lakh mp domicle and gen so i filled all choices but the problem is at my rank there're very low chances to get a good clg in regular mpdte rounds miltey bhi h to bhout low ya usse thode se above milenge ab i think clc would be a good way to get clg in my situation but what if clc m bhi kuch na mile coz as everyone knows clc is totally unpredictable like nobody knows what'll gonna happen there so mera doubt ye h ki clc m bethne ke liye mpdte se jo seats mili hoti h vo chorni padti h but merko fees ka bhi issue h isliye maine tfw seats bhi fill kri h to is it possible to participate in clc by not leaving any seat alloted in mpdte?
kuch bhi krke kuch ho skta h?
