Finally got my water temp set....I hope she like it..

Tent setup, in a hot attic that I can't control the temp of. I can heat the tent, but I can not cool the tent or lung room. So good as I don't need my heater, but that also meant the water temp in bucket was hitting high 70's, and warmer when it really gets hot out. It's going to be 95 for two days, and I knew I had to do it right.

Got the chiller in the corner last night, and hooked up this morning. The "self-priming" pump, was not self-priming, so that was fun....but once it was pumping, it's solidly pushing water back into the bucket at 67 degrees, and maintaining it. The tent is probably close to 90 right now....

Good thing that's a haze strain, so it can take the heat, and it won't be that hot after these two days....but I feel better knowing my root ball is no longer sitting in a warm bath.

67 degrees, and some hydroguard. After the heat passes, I'm doing a full bucket clean and refresh as well, just in case there was anything building...

Botanist - Mint Sherbert - 39.19% THC - 4.6% Terps!

Mint Sherbet is a great strain to begin with, but with these numbers, should be for a great sleep tonight..I'll find out in a few hours...smells great, not too dry..real nice product. Found at Smyth Lowell..only 2 left after me...

Edit. Love how many haters we have here...lol For the record, it was a pretty good smoke. Smooth, broke up nicely, not dry at all. Good flavor, smell, etc. And two bowls and I was ready for some zzz's....I"d say #3 on my current Indica list, behind Pie Cake and LA Beat....

I'm in a 5x5 tent with a single DWC 5g bucket. I have no way to control lung room temp. I can heat the inside of tent, but I can't cool it.

My water temp sits between 74-77* F usually. I am using a bit of H2O2 in each fill-up, and also using Hydroguard. No signs of root rot or other negatives.

I do have a couple of frozen water bottles I could use, but my concern here is the bottle would practically be sitting on the roots, or vice versa...and wouldn't be too much?

My other option is a water chiller....but they don't appear to be cheap. I would want one that can handle a small expansion from what I have now, and support (2) 7g totes in an RWDC build project. But all I see are either Amazon specials for $300-ish, or pro-level units for over $2000.

Any better options to chill my water down a bit, closer to 65-70 is where I would like to get it...

I'm in a more-than-typically-sealed, 5x5 tent. I have a single 5g DWC going, week 2 post-flip. Added a 20# tank, and an Inkbird controller with photo sensor built in.

I had the sensor sitting on the lip of the netpot top, so it was directly below the plant itself. Then I moved it off to the side, so it was no longer in direct flow of CO2.

Make sense, or should I try to suspend it right above the canopy? I figured the co2 curtain falling down on it would mess with it, making it click on/off repeatedly.

Target is set for 1100-1300, plenty of light as well...next battle is water temp, but using frozen water bottles swapped daily to maintain 67...hope that is good enough.

Anything I can do to improve? After this grow, plan is ditch tent and build a proper room....
