Starting to get the rdwc setup out in 🙃

Still have a little more to do yet but got most of it done this afternoon. Not the prettiest or most expensive but it'll do just fine 😁, the starter totes will come out and 2 more grey ones will go there in another week and a half or so.

Is this Fusarium wilt?

I very confuse about this type of fungus. Is it Fusarium wilt?
I have tried Carbendazim / Propiconazole + Difenoconazole but it's still spreading. Last time i have fusarium i used these products and it's stop. But now it has some mold on the branch i think it's not Fusarium anymore
anyone know how to cure this?

Papaya Punch day 38 flower. Is it time to start fading/finishing? How?

My first coco run is coming to an end. Trichomes are already milky and ~3% amber on the tops and i am wondering how much time i should give her / how to finish the run?
What do you guys change in the last weeks before chopping?

I am using athena pro but i don’t have fade. Do i just cut core for the last 2/3 weeks?

I am confused because some people praise low N finishing products and others claim that they make no difference. Whats your experience and routine?

Thanks in advance!

Slime Reservoir and Plants Deficiency

Hi everyone,

I am dealing with a nightmare slime/biofilm issue in my AutoPot setup and desperately need some advice because nothing seems to work.

Here is my setup for reference:

- 25L reservoir
- 50/50 coco/perlite mix correctly buffered
- Nutrients line all salt-based, using TerraAquatica/General Hydroponics TriPart with CalMag supplementation.
- pH 5.8 and 1.8 EC
- Reservoir temperature 20 ~ 22c degrees celcius.
- VPD 1.2 - 1.6
- Going to Week 5 of Flower.

Here is everything I have already done to try and solve it:

- Deep cleaned the entire system multiple times using bleach.

- Used long pipe brushes to physically scrub the inside of all the lines.

- Completely replaced all the hoses and plastic fittings/connectors with brand-new ones.

- Started running a low preventative dose of bleach in my main reservoir.

- Opened new nutrient bottles in case any were cross-contaminated (though not probable, as every nutrient bottle has its own pipette).

Despite all of this, the slime keeps coming back. At first, I was preparing the reservoir and 2 days later it was already cloudy with a lot of slime/biofilm and the PH dropping a lot (as shown in the second photo). After all the intensive cleaning and hardware changes, the reservoir is much clearer now (I can see the bottom of it), but I still find slime appearing around day 5 or 6.

Interestingly, I've noticed a pattern: it always appears in the valve trays first, and only after some time does it start to show up or cause issues back toward the reservoir.

To test if it was coming from inside the pots, I recently performed a top-down flush on the pots using a water and hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) solution. Surprisingly, NO slime, chunks, or signs of root rot came out of the bottom drainage holes—the runoff was completely clean, indicating the core substrate and roots inside the medium seem healthy.

Has anyone ever experienced this specific issue where the slime seems to take over the trays first, even with a clean res and brand-new lines? How did you finally fix it? Could it be hiding on the root control discs, the pot plastic, or somewhere else?

Any help or insights would be highly appreciated. Thanks!

No amber day 59 Flower

Need some experienced eyes on this one.

I'm in mid Week 9 of flower. The last full-strength feeding was at the end of Week 7. Since then, I've only been topping off the reservoir with RO water. My PPM is now in the low 400s.

The plant still has a nice sweet berry, hazy fuel aroma, but it's not that loud, punch-you-in-the-face smell I was expecting. The buds are definitely getting sticky, but under the scope I'm still seeing mostly clear trichomes with very few cloudy heads.

For those who've finished long-flowering cultivars:

Once trichomes are mostly clear, how quickly do they typically transition to mostly cloudy?

And from mostly cloudy to seeing a good amount of amber, is that usually a matter of days or closer to a week or two?

Would you keep waiting, or does this sound like it's entering the harvest window?

My V-Cure is sitting here ready for its first run, so I'm trying to be patient and harvest at the right moment instead of rushing it.

I'd appreciate any thoughts or experiences with late-finishing plants.

Let’s Talk Setups!

Hello fellow Growmies! A little about me, I’m a new grower. In the middle of Flower on my 2nd ever grow. I’m a Hydro guy but I know there are others in this sub as well and would love to hear from everyone! Basically would love to talk about my set up and hear about yours. Basically my set up is a modified Ebb and Flo…? Top flood Ebb and Flo? I don’t really know I suppose. I designed it off the ebb and flo principles I guess. Ive been running around on a ton of growing sub Reddits for sometime now but have yet to see it’s like. In my research I couldn’t really find a specific name for this hydro style. It’s works great and I feel like I’ve dialed it in well. A little about the system, I run a 15 gal reservoir on the out side of the tent. I do a full drain, clean, and nutrient adjustment every 2 weeks. Till about Week 4 of Veg I water once day for 1 minute, then forward to Harvest I water twice a day for 1 minute each flood event. Sump in the middle kick on for a minute after flood event and again 10 minutes later for a minute. Chiller and air cycling the res 24/7. Pics are from my first run and the only real adjustments besides adjusting nutes for PPM amounts, is the last pic, which is the root trim over my drain hole going to the sump in the middle. Please ask me any questions or tell me about your setups! Love to hear about your style and why you chose to grow that way!

Auto timeline adjusted for hydro?

As yall know, hydroponics can be more efficient than soil and that can shorten the harvest time on some veggies. Is the same for hydroponic autoflowers? If the grow timeline is estimated to be 8-9 weeks, should I assume that it’ll be ready closer to 6-7 weeks in hydro? Or are the genetics for the auto preventing an earlier harvest time? For reference, the auto is 3.5 weeks in hydro and germinated 5 weeks ago. I feel like this is a lot of budding for only 25 days, and I’m not sure if I’ll need another 40 days to develop. The seed is Top Gun from MVB, and I’m a first time grower

Is there a general hydroculture sub?

So, I joined this sub because I‘m interested in general hydroculture (tomatos, peppers, you get the gist), but this seems to be mostly about mary jane.

So is there another sub about general hydro or did I miss something?

Check out these fans

Reverse genetics.

Won’t know which one until it’s budding but it’s either Icy Gary or Frozen Cherrycana.
