Hi,

I've had symptoms that match RCPD for around 5 years: inability to burp, painful bloating (especially after drinking fizzy drinks/beer), painful hiccups, gurgling noises from throat/chest.

I finally went to my GP recently they assumed it might be a gastro issue, so they ordered stool tests and a coeliac blood test. These all came back normal. So I’m wondering what my next step should be. Should I go back to my GP and see what they have to say or would I be better going straight to a specialist?

I aware of Lucy Hicklin in London and the treatment she provides, and I’m open to going private if that's the most efficient route.

Would love to hear what other people have done in similar positions.
