I mainly collect Transformers, Marvel Legends, Jada Street Fighter, couple Star Wars and couple NECA TMNT...but one of my definite all time shows as a kid from the 80's was MASK!... I'm 44 yrs old and this is the first Mask fig iv ever collected as an adult. I just dont come across them in local shops and I never really tried looking online for them. But I came across this bad boy in a local shop and I'm completely stoked to say the least...and FYI you can watch full episodes of MASK for free on YouTube 👍
Found both of these gems at a local toy shop for $30 total for both...I'm happy...Plus iv honestly always thought that the Parker Robbins "The Hood" fig would make a Box Office hit for a live action film story...A thief encounters a demon that gives him a cloak that allows him to have mystical powers as a criminal! Man I know there's a director that can turn that into $$$
Does anyone ever have the elbow joint freeze up and they can't move the elbow joint? I even put it in the sun for a few hours and all other joints have softened and move easy but this elbow joint is still stuck and I'm afraid to force it more and break it.
...I love how the comic version Iron Spider is so smooth, shiny and glossy looking, like as if the ML creators were like Ok, we gotta make this figure visually appear to be different than the average marvel legend because it is in fact the "IRON" Spider...This guy should definitely always be dust free, lol...
...the producers wanted to focus all their money on the live action films since they were steam rolling the movie industry at the time and this cartoon cost $500,000 an episode to make...YOWZA!
...I used to watch this cartoon with my dad on Saturday mornings, like when I was 8 or 9. I don't even think I had toys from that show even at that time. But I'm 44 yrs old and just found out the Gamestop right down the street from me, has these figs...Man it takes me back so much that I even started watching the series on Disney plus...and I didn't even know it was on Disney plus either, I learned that from a Gamestop employee...Great memories...
