Every now and then I’ll come across something that bugs me in transformers despite it being one of my favourite franchises and I know they don’t effect the franchise in any way, but my eye twitches when I see it…here are some examples:
1. The positioning of the Seekers Decepticon logos - it has always annoyed me that the seekers logos are upside down in robot mode on their wings…as it sort of defeats the purpose of having them there to begin with and I know people say “it’s so they face the right way in jet mode…” fine I guess but they still face the incorrect way in robot mode.
2. You can’t tell Scourge apart from the sweeps - they sound have made it a bit easier to tell who is who between scourge and sweeps because we only really have his voice. I think scourge should have been the only one to have a beard and the sweeps didn’t have one to signify they are his clones/Duplicates.
3. Soundwave having yellow eyes - this one is simple I just don’t think Soundwave suits the yellow eyes look, the red eyes are so much better and look more menacing, it also contrasts nicer to his blue and white colour scheme, yellow gets too lost in his design.
4. Optimus Prime having a mouth/face - I’m pretty mixed on this one to be honest but generally I think most Optimus prime designs look better with the face plate/battle mask deployed rather than retracted. The mask is just such an iconic piece of the design. Though I will admit there are exceptions where I’m okay with it.

Concept art for a litte AU Beast Wars project a couple years(?!) ago.

To me, this is still the best live-action Megatron to date (mostly because we were robbed from the one supposed to show up in the BBM).

Yeah, his design’s super gappy and jarring to those who grew up on G1, but the fact that he terrified the Autobots just by showing up, ripped Jazz apart with barely any effort, overpowered Optimus, took an F-22 bombardment and was STILL going for the All-Spark really portrayed how much of a force of nature he was.

While I think his ROTF and DOTM designs are cleaner, I also prefer Megatron to still put up a hell of a fight by himself, and it’s just a shame he lost a lot of what made him so threatening in the first place post-2007.

Edit: I nearly forgot that Megatron slammed Optimus while he was in jet mode through an office building during the Mission City fight. At least twenty people had to have died just from that.

I was re reading my old (Dutch) TF comics and noticed what looks like the man/woman signs for toilets! Or am I mistaken? What could they be?

Well there you have it, emerging from the Dark Energon cocoon, empowered by The Matrix of Oppression, Megatron has now transformed into MEGATRONUS REX. It appears that he is now fully taking the name of his predecessor, while also mirroring a "Prime" with "Rex" (which means ruler in Latin). He's still a triple changer, only his tank form has changed and instead of a pistol he is now a large gatling gun. So if this concept art is accurate, a new figure may mean a new mold given the gun form. Also potentially giving new posing options for any Devastator owners out there. Or do you think he'll just be a Megatronus AOTP remold?

What are your hopes, thoughts, and opinions on the potential Megatronus Rex figure? What features, accessories, or details are you hoping for? Personally I'd really like to see his chest cavity open up for a Matrix of Oppression accessory.

Couple of Toyhax and upgrade kits on them

It's no secret that Beast Machines is a colossal sequel failure because the TV network producers told the new writing team not to watch Beast Wars, so they made a lot of questionable choices.

But the biggest one that I can't shake is this idea that Megatron builds a perfect replica of the Optimal Optimus Body. This makes no sense for these reasons.

1. How can perfect design specs for that body exist on Cybertron when Primal first got that body on a different planet millions of years before Beast Machines? Cybertron couldn't have cataloged or recorded it.
2. Primal got that body from merging his spark with Optimus-the-freaking-Prime's spark, and that mutated him into Optimal. Megatron can't replicate that, considering Prime is apparently long dead

by the time of Beast

1. Machines.
2. When Primal first arrived on Cybertron, he was immediately exposed to Megatron's virus, which changed him back to his original Season 1 BW body. He wasn't captured and had his spark removed like Rhinox and Silverbolt; his body simply regressed back into his original form. So it technically no longer exists.

So now we have these issues: there's no way to back up the body when it was on another planet, no way to replicate the conditions to create it, and it physically no longer exists for Megatron to use.

A lot of ppl give this design flack. But from a character design standpoint its very distinctive. Ppl call him a “dorito” so his triangular shape is easily identifiable.

He has the digitigrade legs.

and he has the most prominent cybertronian tattoos.

His kibble is also obviously all over his body and it’s unmistakably an F-22 Raptor.

Many ppl simply hate it for not being G1 but it has the same components incorporated into the bay design. But it’s easily one of the best designs in the series.

Imagine SS86 Optimus didn't come with the trailer and was just the figure. I've seen a lot of people complaining about the official Energon Universe Optimus Prime's price and just getting the DNA upgrade kit for SS86, but in my personal opinion, barring the trailer and blast effects SS86 comes with, I think the official Energon Optimus Prime figure has better colors and a better Megatron arm than the SS86 and upgrade kit, but what do you guys think? I want to get a Skybound Optimus Prim action figure and I can't decide to just get the official figure or save up for SS86 and the upgrade kit.

Basically just the title, I wanted to incorporate most of the crystal weaponizers into their respective voyagers so I built these, Optimus is based on BotBender’s earthrise build with slammer and Megatron is based heavily on his Shattered Glass alt mode but I couldn’t fit his torso into the build like I could with Optimus.
