Happiness is a long walk with a wet dog

Just had the loveliest walk with my pup on the Scarborough Bluffs and thought maybe it might bring a smile to anyone out there dealing with the usual rigamarole of the day. What a nice day!

World Cup interlude

My dog Jasper has told me he thinks the game 'Fetch' is for suckers. His fav game is 'Goalie' when we play in the backyard. He's a natural, he would kick butt if he played at the World Cup. He's a Sheltie Border Collie mix and a very good boy.

In afib for 13 hours, need advice

I just woke up and my Kardia says afib 100bpm. I'm debating going to emergency because after 24 hours don't they require a blood clot procedure prior to a cardiovert? My experience on my only other afib event was medication didn't do the job and I was 3 days waiting for it to go away. It didn't until they zapped me.

Update: Thanks so much, you guys are great. A long dog walk seems to have got me from afib to sinus rhythm with supraventricular ectopy. Hopefully this continues in the right direction!
