A brief tribute to Karl Mayer’s chaotic energy

Obviously no way I condone his serial cheating or dumpster-fire love life. But watching him instantly humble Andrew in this scene with that ruthless lawyer energy gave me a different lense to look at him

Bree should have told the girls abt Renee

Bree should have told the girls this during that little intervention. When the chips are down, this superficial Upper East Side diva was the one who actually paid attention and saved Bree's life. Idk why Renee didnt tell Lynette this

What if Martha Huber had made it to the end?

This lady sensed something fishy from a brief small talk and successfully cracked the case. She could have been a great addition of the Lane that full of secrets. She could have teamed up with Mrs. McClusky to dig up Dave's past and saved Edie.

The low-key pros of Gaby being so self-absorbed and vain

Hear me out on this one. I am not saying we should all go out and become the person that Gaby is, and we obviously all know the massive repercussions Gaby faces throughout the show because of her ego. But looking back at the early seasons, I actually think her vanity and self-absorption served as her ultimate superpower, especially when dealing with Carlos (in the first 2 seasons), and Victor, who are both conniving and manipulative.

Love Bree but I just can't stand when she does this

Were the writer trying to pave the way to write Bree as a sacrificial friend that put others above herself and her loved ones in season 8? Off the top of my head she has done thing like this in earlier seasons, not just the 2 scenes above.

I see no difference, despite of Gaby saw the red flag and tried seperate Tom and Patty early. They both had third parties involved, they both desired validation from them, they neither cross the line nor wish to leave their marriage for the new persons, just because Tom got out of the situation earlier doesnt make him more innocent than Lynette.

Fyi: Tom's storyline is in season 5 episode 20, Patty Rizzo, originates from joining garden club with Gaby.
