New Waypoint 650F cabinets wobble on one drawer.

These are brand new. The screws are tight on them, but the frame moves around the center section. Is this a warranty issue? Installer says warranty it. The seller says to caulk it. I don’t like that response given how much these things cost me.

I think I’ll be OK, but my parents tell me I don’t have enough.

41 M teacher here. I just recently started putting 20% of my paycheck into my 457 (it was only at $60k 3 years ago). As a teacher, only my employer can contribute to my 401k. I plan on retiring at 53 (that’s 30 years of service for me). When I retire, I will also have a roughly $45k yearly pension, and I will have 80% of my state provided health insurance covered.

Edit for context: My pension increases by 3% each year. My goal is to keep putting 20% of my pay into my 457 for the next 13 years. Then I want to work at a golf course or Costco.

How far of an overhang can you safely mount with Taj Mahal Quartzite?

We’re having polished Taj Mahal Quartzite installed throughout the kitchen and on the island. One installer says we can only do 36 inches deep without getting brackets. However, that gives me roughly 9 1/2 inches of overhang from my decorative panel. We had quartz before with 38 inches giving us a nice 11 1/2 inch overhang from the decorative panel that was unsupported. Can I safely do 38 inches unsupported, or do I need to get brackets? Two installers from the same company have told me different things. One said no bracket was needed, and the other says we need a bracket. Who is right?

Edit: 3cm slab not 3mm. I’m an idiot.

Update: I hired a plumber. How did he do?

Everything is dry fit right now. The plumber is coming back in the morning to glue, put nail guards on, and something called a Simpsons guard or tie (not sure on that one). He took my sink and vent from 1.5” to 2”. Is this good, I genuinely don’t know.

$493 a month. VW Tiguan SE with 4Motion Kalamazoo Michigan. 15,000 miles $614 down.

My car is not up until July. The dealer sent me an offer now and said I should take it because they’re offering to pay my last month of my current lease. However, this is $40 more a month than my current Tiguan lease. Wondering if I should wait or take it because they say this is the best it’s gonna get. Kalamazoo Michigan for reference.

$489 a month 15,000 miles Tiguan SE with 4Motion. Good deal? Kalamazoo Michigan

My current 2023 Tiguan lease is up in July. That’s $444 a month. The salesman says $489 a month is the best it’s going to get for a 2026.
