Day 2 and 3 of Solo Nationals Recap (Non-Racing Portion): Another amazing day at Nationals!! After all the runs for the day, we had a banquet and awards ceremony, and an ice cream party later on! I forgot to take a picture of the trophy I made during the trophy exchange 🤣 But I couldn't have asked for a better evening to close out two great days of racing. 🥹 Now I'm back home, and hanging out with our cat. 🐈‍⬛️ Until next year, Solo Nationals! 🥹🙌🏁

Everyone is amazing and I'm getting to meet some people that I've talked to online for years now and finally put a virtual name to a face, and new people who I know I'll get to see and chat with from all across the country! 🏁 Can't wait for (my) day 2! 🥹🙌

Good news to share! We have officially hired a local graphic designer who is currently working on a T-shirt design for the Prius Invasion! 🛸🥳 I'm super excited to see how the design comes along, and I'll share what I can when I get things.

Such a fun day of racing today! 🏁🙌 This was our first time down at the Cat Building with the Central Illinois Region. We've heard good things about this venue, and have always wondered why it fills up so quickly. Now we see why! 🥹😍

This venue is HUGE! 😍 So much room to create a fun course! Today's course was a lot more technical. For me, I was stuck in a plateau for most of the day at 57 seconds. I just couldn't figure it out. Until my co-driver (who decided to beat me in my own car again... 😩) pointed out that the best driving line involved coasting and utilizing momentum rather than speed and power. Once that clicked, I was able to close the gap between me and my co-driver from 1.5 seconds to 0.6 seconds!

I still lost, but we learned a ton and have another exciting day ahead of us tomorrow! 🙌🏁

Even though I couldn't physically be at Charity Eden's album release party, I still got to experience it in spirit! 🥹🍒 A HUGE shout out to Kevin for sending these up here! So glad to be a part of the Charity's Cherries community! 🥹🫶 Keep an eye out for a voting post on which part of Dave the Prius to place the cherries sticker on! 😁🍒

Officially registered for the 2026 SCCA Solo Nationals in Lincoln!! 🙌🏁🥳 Gonna make the Prius community proud as the first Prius to ever participate in the event! 👏Since my co-driver can't make it, I can't wait to travel out there to earn last place in class! 🥳🐌
