190k miles 2016 MDX SH-AWD $7,500
So I have an opportunity to buy a 2016 Acura MDX SH-AWD from a family member. He bought it in 2019 as an Acura dealer certified pre owned at around 50k miles. He has been perfect with service and records. All the 100k mile maintenance etc. It has been maintained as well as it possibly can. Very clean inside and out.
Since it is nearing 200k miles, it will need another timing belt and water pump replacement. I am told will be around $1,500. I completely trust him.
My question is, even with perfect maintenance and good condition - how many more miles can I possibly get out of the vehicle? Does it seem reasonable to anyone else to buy in at such high mileage? Money is tight for me. I am in the market for a full size SUV out of necessity. Thanks.
