Got blocked but I wasn’t hating…

Yall I can’t even make this up. I got blocked because we got into a discussion (not even an argument) about supporting trump and privilege. She said that she wouldn’t judge ppl for their votes and blah blah. I said that’s not rly good bc I would judge someone for their vote bc it affects our lives. I told her that I’m white too, I was homeless too. I lived in a group home as a kid and had no parents. But we still have privilege as white ppl and should understand how important politics are.

I stated multiple times that no one deserves to get harassed, no matter their votes though.

I didn’t even initially talk to her, it was to another commenter. Then she started saying abt how politics are “no one’s business” and all this. And I was like ?? Dude it is my business if I’m gonna decide to support someone bc I don’t want to support u if u voted for a felon that is racist and ableist and allat like don’t play rn

After I made the comment that I was in a situation just like hers and even I know we still have privilege and we should always care for others, not just the ones in our direct community, I got blocked 😭😭

I honestly don’t care abt the drama and I don’t hate her so maybe this is the wrong subreddit but this really rubbed me the wrong way. I was literally agreeing with her on so many things so I thought it was crazy she blocked me bc I said politics are important 😭😭

Accutane in Korea?

Hello everyone

I’ve been on accutane for half a year now and have a few more months. I was supposed to go back to America but I won’t be for a few months. So I’m looking to start on isotrretinoin/accutane here. I know it’s not as common as in the west but I really want to get back on it asap. Does anyone know where I can go to get it? I don’t even know how to find “dermatologists” rather than skincare clinics. If anyone has any recommendations or experiences, please let me know!!!

How to confirm family registry?

Hello

I’m a dual citizen and I need to get my Korean ID. I ran into a huge problem. They said that my American documents with my name can’t be used to verify me on my family registry. I need to apparently verify that I am who I claim to be so that I can get my ID. I don’t have my BC and I tried getting it but lo and behold, they won’t give it to me without my ID. I have my registration number.

There are three ways to verify it, 1) another ID so passport or license but I have neither. Can’t get passport and can’t get license either, they also asked for a Korean ID. So I’m stuck there. I don’t have BC or my Korean ID.

  1. get a verification from the registry town unit or smth. My community center place already called them and tried to get confirmation but they denied. They said they have no proof that my family ever lived there (buyeo, I’m in suwon) and they said they can’t confirm my identity

  2. have a direct family member represent me at the office and verify my identity. My mom is in jail. The only other person is my grandma and my brother. My brother is in America. My grandma isn’t even responding to me. I never even met my Korean side of the family until I came here, and that was once. I asked them for help and they won’t help me. My mom is in jail and idk when she’ll get it.

Here’s the main problem - I need that ID really soon because I need to proceed further with my dual status bc I’ve been living as a national. And, I need to get a job. I’ve been offered a job and I really need to get it bc I’m abt to run out of savings and I need this money. If I leave Korea back to America, I would be enacting on my American citizenship and lose my Korean citizenship. So I really need to get this ID like this week.

I’ve been going everywhere, buyeo to here- district office, public health center, everywhere.

I seriously don’t understand this process. I have to verify my family registry? My mom is in jail!!!! What am I supposed to do now? What if my mom ran away? Then I’ll never get an ID? Like what?? I need this really soon. Please someone help me, I’m in a rly bad spot

Okay so I want to the neat eyebrows like I show but idk how to trim(?) them like that

I have full eyebrows, and i do "shape" them like shave to create a shape that im happy with. Its the actual HAIR that doesn't look like my inspiration, if thay makes sense? Like, I have TOO much hair and they're longer so if I try to use gel or smth, they don't look the same. Does that make sense?? I'll attach pics to how my eyebrows look and how j want them to look. These r not my actual eyebrows. I don't care abt the actual outline/shape, but like hair filling part. I trimmed my eyebrow hair with like the eyebrow scissor thing but I got scared lol. I thought abt going to a pro too but its kinda expensive haha

(Girl with darker eyes is my before [not actually me] and the one with eyeliner is my inspirational after)

I also thought maybe its like them filling in but I have full eyebrows so if I fill in, it just looks too dark. I hope this all makes sense.

okay so im really struggling to get my korean ID and I need help from anyone because I already went to the district office and they couldn't help me. A few things to get out of the way

- I am american and korea. I have a birth abroad american BC and I had an original Korean BC. my mother has lost my original BC.

- I think i need to get a hold of my original BC to make everything easier but the hospital i was born in, is shut down. When I went to the district office bc Google said I can retrieve a copy from there, theh told me they couldn't unless I knew my korean ID number.

- I cant get my korean ID number bc I didnt know anything of my korean information and I don't have my korean BC. So im kinda stuck there.

- I need to get my korean ID and BC so I can file everything properly for my dual status. I am already dual at birth bc I was registered but I still need to do paperwork since this is my first time coming back and I need to file so I can get my korean passport.

- my older brother got a korean ID when he was here but 1) my mom did it for him (this is not an option for me) so idk what she said or what process she did to get him one so soon and fast 2) im the only one in the family with a missing BC AND im registered under my aunt's household?!?!? She sent me a picture of the registration paper thing and it has a bunch of digits beside mg name, is thag my registration number? Can I use that to get my BC or ID?

- other problem, they attached my korean side of family's surname for the registry but its not legally part of my name. So let's say its park, they have me under Park X instead of my actual surname (my dad's) so can I even use it? Will theh question my identity? I know it was fine when I was younger bc I used it to go to school, but how does it differ now?

I don't know mg korean ID or anything. I know I have one bc im registered but idk how to even find it. I was at the district office for over an hour and they couldn't help me. They told me to go to the police and they obviously didn't do anything. Now im lost where to go.

I really need to get an ID soon bc of a job offer and for my proper documentation for dual status. Tomorrow, I will go to a local community center where my brother went and try to see if they can help. My brother said he just brought his american BC and passport (he is also birth abroad so both documents list birth place as korea) and then my mom managed to get him a korean ID but he doesn't know if she brought other stuff or anything. I cannot ask my mother for help so pls don't recommend that.

Sorry for long post. Please help!!
